Checking it ... wait, I haven't time
But, opening the rar, it seems a bit odd ...
(Fr: c'est un peu mot à mot non ?Pierre renforcée pour Reinforced Stone, c'est bizarre ^^. Béton peut être ? Béton armé ? (si béton est déja pris par les hardened CFoam).
But, you made it, I'm not gonna criticize what I was too lazy to do
(Translating the whole game "Factorio" into french was a bit long too, so I know that it's not THAT easy) -
-
Yeah but in my opinion its to easy . 1 block provides you with the next tier auf recipes. If you had to add a whole layer auf casings (lets say 3x3) it would be more expansive and more challenging towads the late game . This Mod looks quite cool but you are done with it to fast . And the idea to use it as some kind of advanced refinery is really great actually . Since the distilation tower kinda sucks towards the later stages of the game. Since there are much more efficent way to creat energy once you are able to build one than diesel generators.
For example it woulb be a ridiculously cool addition to BC if you were able to power some kind of engine with diesel . I mean literlly Liquid Diesel instead of cells , whiche kinda suck in my opinion , but i guess that belongs into the gregtech thread
Yeah I agree, but it would also conflict with others structures (I mean, having almost Identical structures for 2 machines isn't good because it allow you to share too much Casing Machines ^^)
-
Im thinking of some kind of evolving model that enables you to process more advanced substanced the more layers you add to the distiliation tower. Much like the Steamboiler , who gets more efficent . In terms of what substances you can process the type of casings you use could play a role 2 . This way the codense tower would become way more complex and fun .
Isn't it already like that ? Of course that's more interesting, but I believe that's already how it works.
Btw, this tower should definitely be used as a more expensive but more efficient version of GT RefinneryPS: In the description replace "update" by "upgrade" ^^. (Like overclock upGrade :p )

MultiBlocks windmills ... I WANT THAT!
Edit:
Looking at the whole thing, it looks really nice :).
I just dislike the "cheaper Storage Units" part ^^. (hey, I'm a GT fan, aka a nerf-fan)
What about making the Advanced Chemical Reactor able to generate energy ? As an example, you could use Sodium in it, to generate more EU than using the SemiFluid generator but at a higher rate ...
Or even cooler: Chemical Equivalent of Nuclear Reactor, with reaction generating energy, and some others consuming (would be kinda like breeding) ... that would be awesome
(Not like I didn't already suggested that 3 times to Greg xD)Btw, I don't know if it's already how it works, but could you make the pneumatic compressor way longer to process ? Like 256 000 EU at 128EU/t (100 secs) for recipes requiring 8 ITNT, and about 1 024 000 EU at the same speed for thins like Dust to Gems recipes ?
And why not, counting Air pumps and casing machines as kinds of Overclockers
Wait ... Greg, why didn't you make the Impl. Compressor BF-like ? I mean, with pressure instead of heat ? -
0 running cost Thorium reactor:
http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…21qlkldng055x6pjl4rlr2n0gI like using coolant cells since they allow more safety
(notice that I used coolant cells but only as components, since I haven't to replace these).
And there are free spots where you can cool some coolant cells down for another reactor. If you don't want the coolant part -->

That makes me thing about all games, which we can get lots of things, be "rich", be "powerful", but those things are just values on a data center... not real, in any way.
Of course, but it does not avoid these games to be enjoyable. Some guys often argue that "it's not real". The question is: "what's the point of being real ?" And btw, we are in a game, made by extremly intelligent humans, where each particles are DATAs in a giant computer ... you know, die and you'll see, these games are just so realistic that you don't remember your life ... *notmakinganyonetocomitsuicide*
Above: Useless shit-ception. -
Ive had problems adding coils to blast furnaces, do you know what version that was implemented in?
I play on FTB ult, My brother doesn't want to update -.-I think the rightclick-to-upgrade system has been implemented after 1.4.7.

Step 1.
Create black whole
Step 2. Get NEARLY sucked in, then run at 100 blocks a second away from it but just at the right place so that you dont actually move (being sucked in fast enough but running away)
Step 3. Do for a while
Step 4. ????
Step 5. YOU TIME TRAVELED KINDA INTO THE FUUUUUTUUUUUREEEEE!!!!!Sirus, how many time did I tell you not to speak about science ?

Talking about reinforced ones, a full reinforced blast furnace may smelt the majority of materials.
Then back to my question (--'), what's the point of upgrading a Blast Furnace with HAMC ?

I was just putting out some basic ideas, I don't expect Greg to code THAT much stuff (if he does at all). My original concept was an abandoned city with broken machinery everywhere and radiation-infested monsters, but with a lot of good "industrial loot". The balancing factor to this would be the sheer strength of the mobs, requiring quantum just to survive. Again, I kind of made this all up as I went along, and I added things as I went. I realize that the amount of things in that suggestion would probably be enough for its own addon. (Imagine an industrialized Twilight Forest) Needless to say, if Greg was to do something like that he could take out and refine and add whatever he wants.
Industrial Ruins were suggested for IC² and more or like denied already.
I think they are planned for GT though. But it's gonna be a long, long time. -
WAIT WHAT ?
Also its cheaper as it doesnt use chrome.
The HA Machine Casing does not require Chrome anymore ???
-
Coils reduce energy usage by decreasing operation time, so it depends on what you want.
Really ??? But ... what's useful with upgrading the casing machines ?

Suggestion :
We have ComputerCubes right? Why not using it for something useful, like programming?
So, i came with this idea which is basically a CC turtle, but balanced and improved (will require fine sprite artist to do it, if possible) :Robots!
Programmed on GT ComputerCubes. [Use whatever language pleases you Greg]
Tier 4+ technology, expensive, energy costly, used for mid-late game extensive automation. They are able to mine blocks , kill mobs (does not count as player kill) , interact with blocks (Insert" X" things on "Y" slots of GUI of a block located at "Z" once every "A" time) or simply rightclick with a tool given to it, do maintenance on stuff (turbines), build stuff and anything you can think of.
The program would be written on the GT ComputerCube. Program data is stored on Data Orbs, rightclicking the robot with a data orb loads the program (the data orb is stored inside the robot).
You can not transfer code using copy/paste. You can only copy them ingame using the ComputerCube. If the robot gets damaged while it is working, it has a chance that the program will corrupt (aka lose parts of code), causing fancy behavior. The robots requires extra parts to work properly, like a nanosaber to fight mobs, a drill to mine stone/ores, a chainsaw to cut logs, a laser to shoot on targets around (alongside a heat sensor and a biometric identifier to make it not attack its owner), Nanosuit to defend itself, plating to increase health (Osmium plates would give the highest armor) [heavy plates decrease robot speed], rockcutter to slowly silktouch stuff, energy orbs for internal storage, wrenches/screwdrivers/hammers... to do maintenance, any tool that can be used on mod blocks (example would be TC3 wand to be used on a crucible, it simulates a rightclick). Robots can use non-electric counterparts, but those will get damage three times faster as it doesnt care about durability and uses maximum strength [doubling overall speed if compared to normal tool usage by Steve]
Robots could be programmed to be faster/slower, consuming more or less energy, requiring overclocker upgrades, can have upgrades to work on Michael Jacksons (MJ) and Steam, given it can recharge itself somewhere (TE energy infuser and Steam tank), will consume 3-15 (normal operation-overclocking) times more energy on electric tools, if compared to Steve.
Seems like you wanna make a non-OP CCAnd for my first ever post on this forum, I suggest the Industrial Age:
Imagine a new dimension with the spawn being in a large city (thinking ~1000x1000), where everything there is industrial. Buildings differentiate in purpose, some contain solar panels, others managing wind farms, some dare the unforgiving nuclear reactors and even the brave few who venture into the depths of nuclear fusion. Some buildings contain massive power storage arrays and others store blocks of materials, but only so much. Perhaps you are lucky enough to stumble upon the dwelling of an industrialized villager and their trades. Some villagers are skilled in the art of mining, and offer you tools and ores in exchange for appropriately balanced materials. Other villagers are wise in the construction of nuclear reactors, and offer you components and copper plates in exchange for fuels and cells. However, albeit some of the villagers are busy, and cannot trade with you directly at the time, and so direct you to their shops, where you may indirectly trade with them through trade-o-mats. All seems swell in this industrialized nation.
Alas, all is not well, as the city will occasionally experience catastrophe, in instances where unskilled nuclear engineers decide to try their luck in real-time reactors, rather than using the almighty G.L.A.D. OS Gregtech-ComputerCube for their experiments, and thereby fail in their attempts and blow up the whole of their dwelling and all adjacent. But this is sometimes the least of their worries, when other cities from many kilometers away attack with high-tech robots, capable of smashing through Nano-armor in one fellow swoop. The villagers assemble and decide that YOU must be the one to mass a counterassault these other cities, as YOU are the only one of them all that has access to knowledge outside of their Minecraft dwelling, like this forum and other wikis. So you set out in your Quantum armor to see what trouble stirs in the uninviting cities that dare attack the peaceful city. Upon arrival you are greeted by rockets and lasers and explosions, and you quickly dash into a building filled with resources you know will be helpful in your own endeavors, and you decide-for your own selfish reasons-to liberate this city and loot it of its resources. And with that, the rest is up to you........
Who likes my narrating?
Anyways I sort of made all that up as I went along, sorry if some parts were lame or boring, I'm just pitching ideas.
So ... what are you suggesting ? I didn't get the point of your story
(or I hope I didn't get it. Because if I did, then you're a bit mad to want Greg to include a system way more advanced than Millénaire for NPCs ^^)
Wait ... WHY ARE THERE 3 SPOILERS ? I can't find more than 2 [ s p o i l e r ] nor [ / s p o i l e r ]

Looks like a SpamBot. But ... Wait, really, a spambot without advertising ? Just an annoying one ? Then this is maybe a new member lol.

It could use some-thing to detect the phase of the atoms, and if it is Bose-Einstein-Condensate, Solid, Liquid, Plasma, or that other weird proton/neutron soup, or the even weirder quark soup even hotter than the proton/neutron soup, it doesn't go through.
Because Boron is smaller than Oxygen, but nearly as hard as Diamond, and if crystalized/denseified/made properly, could be used in a waytoopowerful-Railgun of sorts (using an iron ''shell'' that holds onto the back of the boron missile, connected to the end of the railgun via a nearly-indestructible quantum chain, so as to let the missile be launched as if it were magnetic, but not, HAYO! (well, the iron could follow the boronic-missile, it would just me crunched against the forcefield upon impact as the boron passes through)), to pierce the armour, kill Steve and his Battlesuit-AI-Module, pierce the other side of the armour, and exit the planet's atmosphere, all before that guy standing at the back/control-interface-room of the railgun/railgun complex realizes that the entire thing even worked.LOL. Bose Einstien Condensate. I feel like being at school
About magnetic Field, you know that if you launch a charged (aka ionic, metallic, or anything that is not Neutrons/Neutrino/Photons/etc ... if the magnetic field is extremluy strong [wait, if it's EXTREMLY strong, it could even work on Neutrons, since they are made of 3 quarks, 2 down and one up, whom the total charge is 0, but each one having +2/3 and -1/3 eV]) directly directed on the source of the magnetic field (aka if the magnetic "lines" describe a circle, the center of that circle), this field won't do anything to that projectile ?
You know, just because of that cross product ^^. -
A hint to reduce power usage and increase efficiency is to upgrade the furnaces with heating coils (both automatic electric furnace and blast furnace accepts them).
First 4 Kanthal Coils, then 4 Nichrome Coils. But if you want to have 4 Ind. BF on the same structure, it may be as cheap (I don't know, since I didn't test that) as upgrading each Blast Furnaces.
