Just trying to help you out with the updating. Just look for a tool called "McNostalgia"
It is a file you run and it gives you a choice to downgrade to any version (all the way down to indev including snapshots/pre-releases) and it is the only legal way to downgrade your Minecraft (since distributing minecraft.jar is illegal) and works perfectly.

You say you are in 1.90?

I am using 1.81 and there are problems with the mining laser and lappack. The lappack still charges the mining laser like it normally should. However it will not show the lappack losing charge until I pick it back up and place it in my inventory

I have never been to a server that had mods installed (By mods i mean SSP mods which work in SMP) and i want to try one.
I want it to be small, I prefer servers with fewer people.
Must have a whitelist, I hate griefers.
I want the people who play and the staff to be kind.
I am literally going to turn 16 in about an hour so I do not care about "mature" stuff.
I am basically brand new to IC2, I have never even made any machine except the iron furnace (which isn't really a machine, just an upgrade) But I have seen Direwolf20's entire let's play and i have read alot on the wiki so I know how to play.

The current mods I have installed (full ist) is:
IC2
BuildCraft
Redpower2
Equivalent Exchange
Portal gun mod
I have smart moving installed but I have it turned Off because it causes major lag for me.

The server doesn't have to have all of the mods I have. But I would really like it to have at least IC2, BC and Redpower.
