Race: Am I wrong to expect some basic level of literacy from my users? I've told you several times now, I couldn't reproduce the bug on any of my test worlds and so I cannot help you without your error logs.
Minecraft crashes when I PLACE a missile, so I can't get an error log. I tried using MinecraftError, but it didn't work.
Okay, so now 0.82 is out, so can you focus on the missiles crashing on placement bug? Not to rush or anything, because you are shelling out these updates so fast and spending so much time working on it, but could you focus on the missile crashing at after you are at least done with all the other bugs? Please? That is really the only reason I got this mod - or even IC². Again, focus on the more important stuff first, but I am really looking forward to non-crashy missiles.
To me, it seems the same as 0.81b. Missiles still crash on placement. Fix? Please? Not trying to rush you or anything, though.
Another fast update from Kentington! Heck yea! I'll try after I'm done with my schoolwork.
whenever i place down an autominer it actually places an isotopic separator
i dont know if it matters but they are both under block id 195 (i changed it because i had to) the isotopic separator is 195 the autominer is 195-1
one other thing if their is an id conflict it does not tell you their is the game just loads with out those items
Instead of placing the "Mobile Auto-Miner", try placing the "Miner".
I hate to say it, but Minecraft still crashes when I place a missile. Seems like all the other bugs are smoothed out though. Thanks for the fast update!
I HAVE FOUND A TEMPORARY FIX FOR MISSILE-CRASHING! If you place a redstone torch/powered redstone/etc. BEFORE you place a missile, then Minecraft won't crash. You can't set the location for it to hit, but you can set it off without Minecraft crashing.
i love your mod but i cant install it so can you make a video or beter installing recepie

Copy+Paste the Rocket Science.jar file to the mods folder in .minecraft. That's it. (And, "installing recipe"? What does that even mean? )

QuoteDisplay MoreIf it's not clear from all the bug reports, I don't recommend installing
v0.81 unless you desperately want to upgrade to 1.1 without losing
Rocket Science content *and* you don't mind that the content doesn't
work for the moment. I'd still recommend backing up your world first.
Anyway, 0.81 works (more or less) on my machine because I've activated a
few development "hooks" in my code - I'll look into why the release
version is behaving so badly. Probably won't be able to release the fix
tonight, though.
Development roadmap from here, with projected dates:
-v0.82 (sometime this week): Fix v0.81's myriad bugs.
-v0.85 (on the heels on 0.82): Add BuildCraft pipe compatibility to the
fusion reactor and isotopic separator as well as the all-new Cargo
Rocket.
-v0.9 (late February): Add satellite systems, including GPS, imaging
satellites, communication satellites, microwave power relay, and ion
cannons. You'll need to build some infrastructure to use them.
-v0.95 (early-mid March): Add missile defense lasers, radar dishes, and
defense coordinator blocks to manage them. Also add missile control
blocks for simultaneously targeting/launching multiple missiles. You'll
also be able to connect the two control blocks to automatically launch
your missiles if incoming warheads are detected. This version will be
ready for conversion to Bukkit, assuming I've found someone to handle
the project by then.
Sounds awesome! I will look forward to all of those!
Okay, I registered. Now I can edit, lol
Another thing is that only half the rocket shows up (just one block) when I place it down, force close minecraft (I'm not on a Mac, by the way), restart it, and go back into my world. Yea, it still shoots right, I can change the co-ords, but that also is one reason that the Passenger Rocket won't work.
EDIT: OKAY, BIG PROBLEM. In creative mode, the entire block selector thing is spammed with 32,767 FUSION REACTORS. Not to be mean or anything, but FIX THIS NOW. Please?
EDIT 2: All the missiles are the same, they are all just regular missiles.
EDIT 3: The parachute, when opened automatically, will appear for about a half a second then disappear. Shouldn't be a big priority.
