    Hey,

I looked for this bug on the forum but couldn't find anything.

I have a fully charged lappack in my chestplate slot and use the minig laser, but the lappack won't automatically charge the mining laser. If I put in the lappack in the slot WHILE the mining laser is empty, it will fully charge it (without being discharged) but only in that occasion.

Also when I remove the Lappack from my chest slot it is immediatly discharged.

    I use IC² 1.90 SMP, Forge 2.0.0.67.

Hope I'm not the only one with that problem...

    I did ;)

Btw, I realized, it only crashes when I only have one scrapbox left in the stack I am opening. That seems like a bug.

    update:

This time I got the following, I guess I didn't wait long enough the last time...

    Okay,

I tried, sometimes it crashes sometimes it doesn't, it seems to be quite random :S

Here is all I got from the log:

Don't know if it helps. Also my friend says that once he opens a box the counter drops by two and if he opens the next one, it doesn't change at all. So after opening 2 scrapboxes it somehow balances, but it is still weird...

    Hey guys,

I have a weird problem with scrapboxes. I am running a server on which I play together with a friend (noone else) but everytime I try to open a scrapbox the entire screen turns into this dirt background and I have to restart minecraft (the server is fine). My friend said he saw me disappearing but still spitting out a dirt block upon opening the box.

I tried it one more time when I was on the server by myself and it worked fine.

Everything is on 1.2.4, forge is on 2.0.0.67

Does anyone have any clue, what might be going on?

Some bug fixes I find quite important, like the SMP TNT ghosts (I quite often have to reconnect to get rid of them), or sometimes the shift key doesn't work and I keep falling off while building something and die.

And I have been waiting for getting differently coloured wooden planks for a long time :P and now that I am playing with IC² I can't use them for my house...

Yes except for that I don't care too much about the other fixes and additions but those are (at least for me) quite important.

FYI, i'm not even going to bother trying to update to 1.2.3, given i'm exclusively working on my MCP currently. Which takes about one hour to re-setup. Probably going back to actually playing minecraft somewhen later.

Do you mean 1.2.4? Because 1.2.4 added a few in my oppinion nice things like different coloured planks and has quite a few bug changed which at least I have been waiting for a long time. And I saw that forge has just been updated to 1.2.4 today...

I am actually looking every day hoping that IC² is finally on 1.2.4. I am sure 1.3 will take quite some time anyway since Jeb is planning to add the API in this update.

Well hopefully you will take a bit to update it ;(

    Hey,

Since I am still waiting to for the new update, before I will finally start playing Minecraft with IC² (I can't wait) I had a question and if it doesn't already exist, I would definetly suggest it.

Is it possible to run cables vertically and sideways? If not, I would suggest it for reasons of simplicity when it comes to building high windmills deep geothermal generators next to lava underground etc.. Also it simply makes many things easier...

    What do you think?

Well I play on my own server with friends and we play on hard. So the defence is rather against mob invasions.

I just think in general it is a nice feature to build TNT canons and water was always the best way to do it. Now, IC² is taking it away, which I really dislike. The Mod itself is awesome, but still I think at least for TNT it should work as usual.

    Hey,

I have been playing IC² for a few days now (but followed it for a long time before that) and realized that due to the reduced blast resistance of Water, there is no go way to build TNT cannons anymore.

Don't you think it should be somehow possible to use that? Obviously it will be difficult to trigger using the blast resistance, but is there no possibility for example to have normal TNT act towards water as usually and iTNT, dynamite, nuke... to simply destroy the block immediatly or something?

Just because I have installed IC² I don't really want to give up building them as defence for my house....
