1) Place an MFE/Batbox/MFSU
2) Fill it with energy (a stack of SU Bats are OK)
3) Wire it to a machine (Induction Furnace, F.E.)
4) Hook it up to redstone/make it operate.
5) Remove the cable
6) Notice how it keeps working as if it was still hooked up.
Very known bug, this is like the fifth thread on it so far, it has been confirmed as fixed in IC2 v1.107

If he had the POWER CONVERTERS MOD* there is a device in that that can change IC power to BC power, its called an energy link, with that he could get the power from the MFSU out of a glass fiber cable and then connect it to the energy link and then get a wooden conductive pipe and that would change the IC power to BC power therefore letting him run his quarry.

Remember back when we all believed that? But seriously, I think it is going to be incredibly overrated, sure they are working with Forge people on what should be in it, but honestly can it ever rival Forge for anything like Industrialcraft or Redpower's needs? I think it will honestly just be something that people can use to make new ores, tools, crafting recipes, or maybe basic additional stuff, in other words things that 1000's of mods have done already, not something that will be worthy of the really big mods' use.
