Minecraft seems to completely ignore this property : it keeps saying 'Slot 199 is already occupied'...
Did I wrote the wrong property ?

You can change the ID of Rotary Block by changing it in the IC2Rotary.cfg wich is in .minecraft\config directory.
I saw the file, but it's empty and I don't know the name of the property used to set the ID

Very good job with this mod ! It will be very useful in my automated factories. But how can I change the ID used by the block ? It conflicts with the IDs I set for Better Than Wolves blocks (which I changed because of conflicts with IC...) ?

It seems we had exactly the same idea ! I'm building mine, but it's not finished because I plan to extend it with a lava cells factory powered by glowstone blocks (some converted to redstone, and some to tin to make empty cells), so the factory produces electricity for itself, so its fully autonomous. The overflow of glowstone dust (will happen at some time with this type of generator) will be redirected to chests in my storage room.
I'll post pictures when it's finished...
Now I need to find a new use for 270 pistons.
Keep them somewhere an wait for the BuildCraft 2.2 release : you will use them to make engines to build a mechanical power plant (watch the video preview on SpaceToad's Youtube channel to see what I'm talking about)

I also had this problem, and it came from the mod "Dynamic lights", which allows torches to glow when you hold them. It quite useful, but I had to throw it away because it breaks the textures of IC²...
