I think its time to put Zjarek's explanation on the wiki.
And the funny part is that will be still HAYO-ish.

Yea, lets add some magic to IndustrialCraft....
Hey, a golem is nothing more than a robot or automaton. So nothing to do with magic, just a fancy name.
And this suggestion is lazy as hell.
We have all this drama 'bout "autocraft" is not as manly and cool than having to babysit the machines 24/7, and we all forgot about the bonus of having a well oiled machine.
Cuz if theres no bonus for a machine in a good conditions, that thing will be only fun for singleplayer, and forever-happy-lookhowawesomeismymonument-nonPVP server.
And will be nice if the weardown rate could be configurable, like 25% weardown every 25 processings.
you don't suffer in sunlight so why should it hurt us humans ?
Remember that the minecraft sun is a magic sun, that burns skeletons and zombies and power up the solar panels.
The same thing can be used in a imperfect-artificial device.
But did luminator already do that?
RP2 is hard. Just learning it is annoying and time consuming. Like the above poster said everything you can do in RP2 you can do with other mods using "magic" blocks. Simplicity wins. It's that simple. While it can be "fun" to create something complex it gets quite tedious having to do it over and over again for everything you do, which in this case is RP2. As long there are mods around that does the same thing RP2 does but way easier, people will keep using those mods. RP2 just isn't very user friendly.
I don't know if you're talking bout RP frame quarries or RP computer.
Cuz the other things of RP are just simply awesome or/and usefull.
And now is when all you people that complain about how the devs do their things, tell me how much money Mojang pays to them.
Because:
Minecraft has ZERO mod support. None. Nah-duh. These mods are, quite frankly, hacks and breaks instituted into the game to force it to work in a way not intended, and to work with certain designs in mind. If you honestly expected these mods to be bullet-proof (or even close to bullet-proof), then you foolishly forget the truth of what these developers must do to even bring these creations into existence...
By the way, this reminds me [Feedback] To IC2 team
CAUSE when i install minecraft 1.8.1 it crash when i start a new world and that happend to all the new updates and yes i check minecraft 1.3.1 with optifine and all and don`t work
Sounds like you got a bad black-market version...
I don't actually know where the original post is, ask Greg, he's the one that posted it in the IC2 related quotes
[IC2 v 1.97] Bug with Ultra Low Voltage Cables? (Tin cables)
Yea, geothermals seem to be king. A battery of nine geothermals, around three golden waterproof pipes, produces 180 EU/tic.
To get that kind of energy output, the nuclear plant with an identical EU output is found here. This has a MASSIVE amount of resources and subcombines necessary, and has a (slight) explosion risk, due to it being a Mk II-1 reactor (but only if you run it multiple cycles without allowing cooldown first).
You forget that on the long run, the nuclear reactor its more mobile and with a virtualy-unlimited suplie of fuel, cuz even in the nether, the lava runs out before I run out of uranium. And if you use nuclear control or set up a CASUC all others generators are da shiat.
*puts his hat of speculation on*
Am I the only one that thinks that maybe will be tiers aside classes with nuclear reactors?
While I think these new ideas are great, credit card and all that, I'm still pushing for simply having two new coins added to the game. It's a lot harder to implement a whole new money system, so it's much less likely that the devs will consider it a light task.
Let's take the first step, before we take the last step.
-Caid.
It still leaves the problem of the printing machine in the basement.
That ruins every kind of economic system. I mean, with that you don't have to buy cheap sell high, just spam solars and massfabs.
So in my opinion, all money-related things of IC should be thinking with bukkit-plugins and admin-control in mind, wherever you use credit card, coins or paper money.
I still prefer the old good Iconomy (& co).
Can you prove without a doubt that zombies are remnant Steves?
I'm 100% certain of how zombies are born.
and would be allowed in canners instead of normal flesh.
But canners can, for that we should use the furnace.
Still will be cannibalism...
Point 1: IC2 is IC2 if you want to play with mods that with IC2 allow to make OP things, it's your fault, no IC2 fault.
Point 2: Again, if other mods mess up IC2 balance, don't use it. It was hard enough to reach this good level of balance with IC2, and now you want to adapt IC2 to ALL other mods that exist out there.
Point 3: Minecraft itself runs like a shit, and if you try to add more awesome to boring vanilla Minecraft, you will need a shitload of CPU cuz Minecraft is Minecraft and runs like a shit. And about that comact solars argument, FenixR a long time ago, explained why that shit is OP and theres not enough pro argumenst to make it less OP. Damn why I coulndt find that post, he even made a few pics with space comparation and all the math.
Point 4: Like F4113nb34st said "the reason the induction furnace is op, is that smelting is the central process in the workspace, and it would take to long when you have to smelt 540 dusts for a project". I hate when a game makes me waste time just to get something a little later, thats not adding dificulty, thats just make me lose my patient.
Point 5: If energy was easy to get, you could have ALL with UU matter, and for people that want easy energy theres a few things out there... one is NEI another one is creative mode.
Point 6: Meh I think structural generators would cause a lot of lag or be extremly costly for its benefits, but I want them D: (I'm looking for that nuclear reactor of Universal Energy or whatever the power mod of that ICMB guy is called)
point 7: "When a Nuclear Reactor overheats IRL..."
Quote from AlblakaUnrealistic?
This...
is...
MINECRAFT *kicks Physics off the ledge*
Point 8: Qsuit is only OP for PvE or low tier PvP, and I know about certain IC update that will have some tools to take care of it at any tier... But srly this argument is getting old.
Point 9: Oh gawd no pl0x. IC is not hard if you know about the mod and if you're not lazy, and is not OP PvP if you know about the mod and if you're not lazy.
Point 10: Yes my english is terrible too.
In the end all this points seems coming from a lazy person.
