I've been trying to craft some items to no success. I've taken into account the new 1.97 recipes (namely, gold insulated wire rather than copper for more advanced recipes).

I can't create an MFE unit, as you can see for the attached images:

Additionally, I can't create an OV Scanner, a problem already raised here: Question: OV-Scanner Recipe Wrong?; a later poster, Lothar, attached images (my battery is also fully charged). We are both using the updated 1.97 recipe with gold wiring.

For the sake of completeness, my Java platform, and of course, Minecraft version, are up to date. I am using the mods Millenaire (which says its compatible with IC2), Railcraft, Single Player Commands, and Castle Defenders; all the latest versions.

I don't know much about the mechanics of Minecraft; could it be something to do with the item IDs? (I did manage to spawn a working OV Scanner with the console commands though, so it does exist as an ID).
