Yep, that's what happened, I added IC2 after the world was made. Let me know if you find a solution, for now I'm going to try doing my mining in a newly generated area...

For some reason I have found "veins" of generators in my mine. When mining near these veins, I sometimes mine up reinforced doors as well. I enclosed a couple of screen shots of these randomly generated "veins".
