- I understand that the centrifuge gives some materials that you cant get otherwise (silver ore is not in default IC2, but needed to make glass cables, etc.) but in a modpack where it isnt necessary to get those materials that way, the balance of the three ore processing machines pushes players to *not* make the additional machines.
MAcerator: cheap to make, cheap to run, EASY to run, doubles ores.
Ore Washer: cheap to make and run, a bit more involved to run (water) and gives a few tiny dusts, which require auto crafting to make into full dusts. Overall maybe a 1.2x ore bonus?
Thermal Centrifuge: expensive to make and run, also just gives a few bonus dusts.
I am playing Enignatica 2 expert pack and the only reason to make the washer and centifuge is because I love IC2. Other than that, no player will go beyond the Macerator. Its a lot of work for just a bit more resources.
Suggestion would be to make the macerator give the smallest boost to ore processing, the washer a bit more, and finally the centrifuge the biggest boost. Unfortunately, if the macerator were downgraded, people would be annoyed with IC2 even more, and to just boost the washer and centifuge means, for purist IC2 players, ore production that is too OP. Personally id love if the macerator gave out 1 large dust and a few tiny, and then the ore washer did the same, and the centifuge actually doubled ores, or something like that. But again, i realize that most players wouldnt like that idea.

A block which transfers heat to allow multiple heat-consuming machines to use the same heat source, or multiple heat sources to power one machine. It loses large amounts of heat over small distance for realism, but the amount of heat lost can be decreased by insulating it with rubber.
Use the existing Copper Block, but add a crafting recipe which adds insulation to it; use existing Copper Cable; or
Possible recipe:
where
are Heat Conductors (the existing item)
is a Copper Block
and
is, well, Rubber

Pretty much like you do with real world batteries.

I know there are options to deal with this like carrying a battery batpack, but it would be nice to increase the internal storage of, a drill for example, by combining it with a internal storage upgrade.
It could even be implemented using a new machine instead of the crafting table in order to balance it, but that's just an idea.
This suggestion comes from whenever i go mining with the diamond drill it doesn't really lasts that long and i'm quite far from the iridium one.
Let me know what you think.

The miner used to have JUST enough slots to hold everything. With the advent of multiple stone types (Diorite, Granite, Andesite), 3 additional slots are taken and it is likely a miner will run out of space.
Why this is significant: Where before a miner might have taken up 2 slots with 64 cobble and 26 cobble, now it might take up 4 slots with 51 cobble, 1 Diorite, 20 Andesite, and 18 Granite. In a recent real-world test on level 49, 15 slots were filled with cobble x5, Diorite (1 block), Andesite (20 Blocks), Granite (18 blocks), dirt, tin, lead, copper, iron, uranium, redstone and coal. There is still the possibility of diamond and gold, and we are already at 16 blocks. I removed 3 cobble to make room for testing to bedrock, or else the redstone would have been on the ground.
I know a chest and an ejector would also work, but if that was the point, why not have no space at all? I feel the space is there to allow a miner to hold all items at a significant level above bedrock.
