I have tried to power my Electric Heat Generator so that I could use my Blast Furnace. Its receiving power, it has coils (tried with 4 coils and 10), but it's not generating heat. I don't know what else to try. I'd rather use the EHG as it only needs electricity and I'm not set up to use any of the other heat generators at this time.

So i was playing around trying to get a electric ladder working for 30 blocks..
I thought I could add it in the middle and be ok but i kept hitting it going up.
I had made a second one to play around with and found this design allows you to go 40 blocks
= Magnetizer
= iron fence
I am not sure if this is the intended effect the mod designers want but I say its a good solution
If its not.. can we please get the electric ladder to have a smaller block shape on one or two sides so that you can tie multiple together to go up

I am trying to craft overclocker upgrades for my machines and have run into an issue I can't seem to find the answer to. The recipe requires a 10k coolant cell, which asks for a coolant cell surounded by 4 tin plates, however I can't find a recipe for the coolant cell. I can make all kinds of different things in the canning machine, but something labeled "coolant cell" isn't one of them. Could someone please provide machines required and recipes used in each machine in order to craft this? I am using the latest stable build of IC2 on minecraft 1.7.10 with AE2, Redpower, BC, Forestry and Railcraft installed.

I am building a city in experimental and am trying to figure out a way to deliver water without using massive amounts of eu with fluid regulators. If the water is flowing, I want to be able to turn it on and off for maintenance. I have tried simply having it flow through a tunnel, but this makes it difficult to access, and it has to go down a block every 7 blocks, so it is very distance-limited. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Quick question: Is there a point in increasing the heat capacity of the industrial blast furnace past 3000? IE does it cook things slightly faster? Right now I have one at 3200 with no advanced machine casings and I just don't see the point of increasing its capacity at the expense of chrome
