There's another bug with the advanced drill.
When using it when activated on a server, other people around you are not able to see the mined blocks until they log out and log back into the server. The mined blocks themselves still act like real blocks but do not drop items when destroyed by another player.

Uh, just a tiny sort of bug report you should say.
When the advanced drill has the silktouch enchantment applied to it with the help of the enchanting+ mod. When the advanced drill is activated, it will give you cobblestone instead of normal smooth stone.
Nope, never fixed them so if it's there, it's there. I haven't played with my port much past testing the changes i've been doing to it.
