    Whats the status of the new defenses for Minecraftia


    Phase 1: 60%
    Local turret Platforms: online and covering all areas of the planet, no holes detected at the moment
    Planet shield: waiting MM Shield Module Mk2
    Turret Shield: Online
    Orbital Base: 50% completed, Repair systems are online with Frame Carrier currently being repaired
    Power Generation: Breeder reactors are currently running at 50% efficiency, Fusion Reactors are currently not running but set up to activate
    Solar Flowers: Both UE and EU are moving into position
    Early Warning System: Flower Cameras are online, outer gravitational ring system is currently at 30%, Turtle production has been increased in order to boost speed of production.

    We have basic functions for all types of "mob" as for functions, the Creeper suit and Enderman suit are in testing and we are currently working on the Blaze suit.

    Sir, the tests with the MM Shield, although provide positive results, drains large amounts of power the bigger the shield. If we use this to protect Minecraftia, we will be draining all available power from the planet along with the interstellar HV Solar Flowers we were planning on using for the power network. We also have been unable to create a device that can negate the radiation.


    Have we figured out what the radiation is?


    Yes, the radiation seems to be caused by focusing the electrical and nuclear energies depending on what is powering the shield.


    What do you mean by electrical radiation?


    the MM Module appears to be pulling more power than required, because of this, the Mirror Move Shield appears to discharge the remaining power into a radiating field that can destroy any and all ships in the nearby area except for ships with the module activated.


    if that's the case, run simulations on what would happen if we rout the electrical energy into the external shield and use it as a amplifier, creating a stronger shield and use the nuclear waste in a breeder reactor.


    3 Hours latter


    Tests complete, the tests show positive readings. the MM shield seems to be using the wasted power into amplifying the shield strength, however, all weapons seem to be reflected resulting in destroyed ships.


    can we rout the power to another area?


    We are already testing it now sir. If the tests return positive, we should be able to produce these new module cards that can be configured to transmit wasted power to the other systems on a ship or the new defense grid for Minecraftia

    Why do I want to join? I am always looking for ideas for Shrine Runner, and in my opinion, the best way is to see how these mods are being used and test them on both client and servers. I was one of the Apiarists on the old Industrial Paradise server before it was shut down, I admit that I couldn't do a lot due to constant Griefing on the server.
    Anything else? I don't get the chance to play on servers very often due to my studies and at the moment, my computer is struggling to run modded Minecraft. so I would completely understand if you decide to not whitelist me because of these.

    Before you go attacking either the home world or any other base of operations of the Spambots, allow me to introduce a new prototype that should give us an advantage in the upcoming battles. I have analyzed the strength of a move of mine, the Mirror Move, and have created a new module for our shield systems, creating a shield that can reflect any attack at double the damage. These shields require a lot more power in order to keep them stable but they should protect us from their new weapons system.


    We also need to have a better defense system for Minecraftia. right now I am currently testing a new defense system that should protect the planet from any more Spambots. Once the tests have finished, I will start deploying the system around the planet. Right now, the only thing I still need to test is the device that will allow our ships to pass through the defense grid without harm.


    Here are the MM Mk 1 shield modules for the MFFS projectors along with a special set of armor that has the shield installed in.

    This armor can deploy miniature drones that can display the nearby area on your visors, even if your amour didn't deploy the drones. I have also included a series of standard ranged weapons, including Plasma and Thunder shots (Plasma doesn't use power but is weaker, can be used to melt amour, Thunder uses power but can fry the electronics in sever spambots at once), Conventional, Sonic and Ice Missiles (using the power of the Eternal Frost dimension, fires condensed containers of, what I call, Frost Water that instantly freezes an opponent or causes living targets to hyperventilate due to the rapid cold), a grapple systems that uses power, but can reach any distance and latch onto anything, two retractable versions of the Nano Sabers contained in the lower arms and the electrical capability of three MFSU's which can be charged, quite quickly, while you are running. The amour also reads your biological make up and adjust itself to heighten your natural physical abilities.


    I can create upgrades for you guys at anytime and install them from any ware in the galaxy. I wish you luck on your assault, I will come to help once the defense grid is operational.

    While I certainly like your idea Blaster, it causes problems with one of our key goals: we want to keep MFFS2 as backward-compatible as possible. Implementing a tiered system would take require us to redevelop large portions of the mod and would take an absolutely massive amount of re-balancing. Perhaps in the future we can look into something like this, but for now and with this version of MFFS, I think we'll look more into options along the line of what stretchydeath suggested.

    The question is, what is the main problem with Forcicium? I personally like the idea that a resource is required to keep the force fields running, not just energy. But I would agree if you complain about Forcicium spamming storage and chests unnecessary. I'll check if there are more effective ways of storing Monazit and Forcicium.


    Forcicium requirement and Monazit worldgen could be an option in the config file, but we'll discuss it internally first before a decision can be made about adding this kind of option.


    So what are your opinions, would it be better to create more effective ways to store large amounts of Forcicium/Monazit or should the requirement be optional (a config file setting)? Keep in mind that we try to keep it as compatible with Thunderdarks version as possible.


    This actually links to an idea that I posted before. A tier 1 form of the force field generator that is cheaper, does not need forcicium or any form of amplifier. but is weaker, cannot extend as far and can be pierced by items like the portable hole. Tier 2 would need forcicium, have a more expensive recipe but be able to extend further, use upgrades like the camoflarge inside and cannot be opened by items like the portable hole. Tier 3 can link to items like the Security station, would need more Forcicium and can be able to kill mobs, players and NPC's.


    As for storage, I will admit that it does become a storage hog early in the game, but I use mods like Factorisation, Greg Tech and Condensed Blocks which helps with the storage (Condensed blocks, not so much for Forcicium), but an ability to condense them further would be much appreciated. Block of Forcicium, A chest like the Indexer from Extra Bees dedicated to Force Energy Crystals?

    i don't know if it's just me, but at the moment all the textures for the blocks are missing (except for the personal safe. I haven't tested useabilit. all I know is that the 4x HV cable works and the night vision goggles don't, all of the items and the boats work though (except for above mention)


    I'm not, i'm just saying it has potential (like what people said about Sonic '06 and look at what that got us), I am grateful that there is a working version of MFFS.

    Still... Calv has better object rendering, not just stupid textures :P Sorry but I think the Calv version is a lot more fun but like I said, good work and maybe you will change a few things too (rendering, energy stuff and so on) :)


    Calclavia's version has a lot of potential. However, as stated before, it is still extremely buggy as he is trying to re-write it from the ground up. it will be interesting to see what becomes of it in the nearby future.

    it would be awesome, super fast horse that can jump anything.


    side note on the horses, am I the only one who has thought about how funny these new horses would be when used along with mods that change the players render?

    Glad to see reinforcements, I was beginning to think the spambots had taken all the populated cities. my ship is heavily damaged but I can still hold out against the spambots. I have reactivated my old base on the moon and am using it to build drone ships that will help us protect the planet. these ships will take time so when I get my engines working again, im going to go and protect the facility. I will need some assistance getting this old ship working again because the damage is quite severe.

    We made it, Were back in... What the hell is that? Analysis shows a similarity with the Spambot designs, but they appear to also have similarities with those Space Pirates we fought before we started dimension hopping. there launching an attack on Minecraftia. N.I.C.O.L.E, Raise shields and begin a bombardment on those ships and pilot us in between the planet and those ships. lets stop them before they launch anymore drones.

    To anyone who can here this, I have repaired my ship and I'm trying to return the Minecraftian dimension, there appears to be a temporal gap between the Minecraftia age and the dimension i am currently in. There is a way around it however I require a link book in order to complete the teleportation sequence, If you receive this, please respond so that I can send a link book from this dimension in order to receive the link book from Minecraftia.

    I don't use to play with Factorization, but I heard about bugs with the fake light-block they add, occuring issues with Quarries or when you try to remove these lamps. I don't know how to reproduce these, though.


    I've had that bug, I believe it happened because there were other sources of light in that area causing a possible bug when the fake lights believe the wrath lamp is still there.
