Have cinnabar and sphalerite been removed (saw them mentioned here) or just not implemented yet?

But Destroying Water and making that no one will respawn would be a bit Hard I think no ?
Something similar to how EE's Volcanic Amulet does it would be fine. It has a (free ) on-use ability that shoots a projectile which removes water source blocks. Now, of course if you shoot it right into the ocean, just one projectile won't do much of anything - the surrounding blocks would regenerate most of it. You can easily spam the projectiles however, and since there's a small delay with the water, it is indeed possible to clear even large areas of water. But I'd really prefer if this was possible with IC2 as well - EE2 doesn't really play well at all with other mods.

I don't like water. There's still no proper way of getting rid of large water bodies (EE is... not an option), what with water's unrealistic property of respawning itself. And let's face it, pumping is way too boring anyway - blasting things to death with laser is fun. Let me kill water, please!

Frame miner says hi.
64x64 quarry says hi too. Always get 2+ stacks once it's done.

Hmm... balancing the windmills is a bit tricky. Just halving the output would make them much weaker. Of course a Windmill at 200 would produce as much as one at 100, but since you need more wiring the windmill at 200 is a lot weaker. It was quite easy to create windmills at 80-100 since you only need to go about 10 blocks higher based on your location. To reach this location with the doubled height you need to go up 90 - 100 Blocks instead of 10.
Could just cap their output, so the extra height wouldn't be an issue.

With a little help from RedPower, water mills are pretty damn awesome.

My MFE on SMP is working great. Perhaps you messed up the installation somehow?
Yup - sure you don't have redstone current or something connecting to it?

What would this T2 UUM be used for though?
I want a sciency version of D&D Bag of Holding. Personal storage dimension in my pocket!

Changed how? Is there still a way to disable the output, or was it done away with altogether? I always used it to stop the energy link from sucking too much power (those stupid things will drain EU even if the BC machine it's hooked to isn't doing anything).
Edit: Oh well, looks like the energy link itself accepts a RS signal to stop the flow, too.

Pfff... no one is having megaplants!
Normally if I have all I need I start making things look nice and polished, build funny railnetworks (Railcraft FtW^^) and start to design things that work with an incredible amount of redstone (I use Eloraams Redpower for this purpose). But with IC2 alone... really no idea.
Ah, yes, I do have the 'usual' assortment of mods (RP2/BC/Forestry etc.) but those shouldn't be required to take over the world, right?

Let's say you have access to abundant resources of all types: what would your power generation setup look like? Rely on just type or branch out and take advantage of several types?
Basically, for the first time ever I'm sticking with one world instead of restarting/wiping map due to patch updates and what not, and I'm kinda undecided on what I want to set as my 'ultimate' goal. I got a mass fab running, nuclear plant humming, clad in a quantum suit and nowhere to go! Earlier, reaching this point has always coincided with having to restart, but now I'd like to hear (and see, screenies tell a thousand words!) about those massive megaplants that churn out EU's by the millions - I know some of you got those!

How about a 1% chance of the nanos coming loose and trying to eat you alive?
Nothing like a little grey goo to ruin your world - that'd make reactor meltdowns look like firecrackers.

I love carving out large underground caves with it - just blast away until the lappack is empty. Not exactly efficient in mining terms, but fun as hell.

And the iridium pantaloons - don't forget the pantaloons! Quantum-Leggings
What's the planned recipe for the electric wrench btw?

Ya know, if the fish are magnetic, you have to wonder how polluted the water is in minecraft
I'd love to have pollution in Minecraft - turn the water into a toxic sludge and kill off all plant life, turn the skies grey with smog etc.
