thats awesome i dont play on anyone's server and how am i suppose to know that c4commando came up with this?
if he wants credit he can take it i dont really care

sorry but im going to disagreed as i like to play how i play as in keep it simple stupid... if i have to make 5 more chambers so i can cut the automation in half then that sounds like a winner to me
plus i was talking about the person saying i was ripping off someone else
Those reactors may be expensive, but they are definetely worth.
Meanwhile...
I'm pretty sure you just took c4commando's design and doubled it, which makes no sense since instead of a single 5-chamber, we can use two 1-chambers to generate 526 EU/t each. Takes up less space and is easier to tile, as well as cleaner to automate.
thats where i got the idea from
*edit* and btw what are you even talking about?
why dont you guys try to get more eu out of the reactor? i just use this one at 8496̊ for 1056eu/t.

also while i was goofing off i used transformer upgrades on the mass fab to handle the nuclear eu
seemed to work just find with 1 input
I am surprised that the design you posted as is didn't end up as a giant crater in short order.
the buildcraft logic i used was very useful in keep the reactor off during swap
hello
just giving some info about the lzh reactors
or atleast my setup
-mods used-
industrialcraft 2 (duh!)
2.0.316-experimental
nuclear control (temperature automation)
1.6.2c
buildcraft (gate conditions ie temperature and crafting automation)
4.1.2
applied energistics (crafting automation)
rv14.final2
rv14.dev2
-first observations
i had noticed that wrong power tiers doesnt cause explosions. im just going to put that in the e-net wip folder. component heat vents "heal" lzh-condensators.
so my reactor was running at 8,498 "degrees" with no eu output, as i was just trying to see how useful a condensator reactor would be for mox and at the very bottom i wanted to know how many lapis a full run would use out of 2k. during the first few cycles i had to work out the automation of the crafting with the fuzzy import and export bus. im not sure how many is actually needed but i ended up with 8 crafting recipes for the different damage values i encountered. the crafting recipes ended up with needing 2 lapis in each craft to make the refilling process as painless as possible. there is a bit of loss during the craft as the fuzzy import pulled with 25% durability so about 7500 damage and two lapis does 8000 so "oh well!" started with 2k lapis as i had mentioned before and ended a clean run with all recharged condensators starting with 0% damage and ending with 860 lapis at the end. so i used 1040 lapis in a 4927eu/t @ 8498˚.
if anyone has any suggestions on how to make this more efficient please let me know!
this topic needs to be at the top!
How long until we get a pipe/logistics card that pull spent (or almost spent) coolant cells out of a reactor. And another pipe/card that only pulls out undamaged coolant cells. Once you have that, you need 2 reactors and you are golden.
make a clock to "delay" it
can't see the problem there. we can't build something like a CASUC without an intelligent transport system like RP2 or logistic pipes anyway, so putting three crafting tables in a row is no real challenge
oh gaxx i was talking to RichardG
ive already automated it with buildcraft
no its not the current recipe is shapeless yes but you have to do the crafting 3 times to refill it
Why do you have component vents in? If they still cool down condensators, i got bad news for you, thats a bug and will be fixed.
and thats why im trying to make it known
im up to 1680 with a cool down mid-cycle
It is a real solution... just not the solution that you want, which would be one that uses an infinite supply of an unlimited material (i.e. ice).
You actually have to pay for your power now, no more "cheating" by spam feeding a reactor with unlimited and infinite blocks of ice.
YES!
720 eu/t Rechargeable Coolant
6 Chambers
It won't work for a full cycle, no.
the heat vents are doing nothing also
hey Alblaka! did you intend this?
AFAIK it uses redstone for refilling, so it isn't a real solution...
Alblaka removed the use of ice or water buckets...
as soon as redpower is updated you can pull them out and automate the redstone or lapis crafting to resupply
try LZH-Condensator or RSH-Condensator
you need to transfer it to a Reactor Heat Exchanger or any component that has a core transfer rate. the Reactor Heat Exchanger is the fastest at 72. a 60k Coolant Cell will be the heat battery while a Component Heat Exchanger will balance the damage values from component to component. and with the core transfer rate of the Reactor Heat Exchanger it will dump heat into the hull while it balances.
what mistaqur means is ice and water buckets wont go into a reactor anymore
