1.6.4 server issue

  • Hi, I'm sorry in advance if this is supposed to be an easy solution or an error on my end but I'm very confused, lost and disturbed.
PS, I can uninstall and re-install and wipe the server or anything at any point, there's barely an hour of work on it (I've spent at least 10x more time trying to fix my problem then actually playing the server)

Here's the thing. I'm trying to run a minecraft server 1.6.4 (offline server, hamachi) with buildcraft,IC2 (forge 1.6.4 of course) and gregtech.

Everything worked fine until I tried to put gregtech on it. Since I did, none of the recipe works. The item actually appears in the crafted box but I cannot pick it up nor spawn it via NEI (iron/electric furnaces, machines and ect)

I fear I have mods for different versions of the other ones but I tried to wipe every mods and put them back in and the same problem still occur. I have read about ID problems and such but I have no clue why it happens or how to fix it, I'm pretty new with the stuff. I've followed every installation instruction I've found the best I could. The thing is, there's not many for servers. My client works fine in single player mode so I'm pretty sure it's a server issue.
I would like it for anyone to not link 10 different tutorials for each mod because I think it's what caused the mayhem. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I'm using buildcraft-A-1.6.2-4.1.1 and industrialcraft-2_1.118.401-lf and the lastest gregtech mod for 1.6.4 (Is what the link said ^^)

    -Your lost, confused friend.

  • As well-known and advertised, GregTech changes recipes.

GregTech replaces the standard IC² machinery (Macerator, E Furnace) with its automatic versions, which have extra features such as super-overclocking, input buffer, automatic output ejection and energy output. They have the same crafting recipe. You can turn this off in the GregTech configuration file.

Sometimes, the client and server do not have synchronised configuration files, and hence the recipe may appear to be different from the client than the server. (E.g. The client thinks that A + B --> C, so it shows it in the crafting output, but the server thinks that A + B --> nothing, so when you try to pick it up, nothing happens). Therefore, try replacing the configuration file on the server with the client one and vice versa.
