Crafting Problem

    I have successfully installed IC2 in MC 1.6.2. I am able to collect the new resources that come with it, but when I try to craft things such as an iron furnace or smelt refined iron, it wont let me craft the item. I have made sure that I am laying the items out correctly in the crafting table. Has this happened to anyone else?

    Yes, this has happened to everyone, because Refined Iron no longer exists ;)


    If you have NEI installed, familiarize yourself with the new recipes. There are a LOT of changes.

    If you don't have NEI installed I suggest you install it, many recipies have changed.
    For the Iron Furnace you need 5 iron plates and a furnace.
    For the iron plates make a Forge Hammer like this:
    S= Stick I=Iron B=Blank
    B II
    SII
    B II


    Then put an iron ingot and a forge hammer (shapeless) on a crafting table to get an iron plate.
