If nothing else, the server being down finally motivated me into devoting some time into doing my Lets Play series I'd been intending to do for a while now.

if we are really wanting to do that i have a duel core that i can set up to do it solely (also you are going to have to educate me because this is making no sense to me)

- gpu more than cpu at something like 50-1 (ati cards seem to do better)
- need to be in a pool (group of people working as team, otherwise takes like 5 years to make money)
- you will prob generate $10 in 6 months, next year you will make 50% of this year, due to the way bitcoin inflation works
- easer to prob just give $10 to server admin, but a cool journey to do via bitcoin mining.

lev is building the server on the new hard drive right now.... so if all goes well (cross your fingers and say a prayer with the luck we've been having) we should be back online within an hour or 2!

I earn about a bitcoin a day with 1 computer bitmining for around 10-14 hours a day... Shouldn't take nearly that long with bitcoins at $5.69~.

Oh, I wasn't using a pool, just used the Tripleminer service. Not CPU, but GPU. 181 Mhash/s or 400-480 Mhash/s
