Teleporter Question: Does the FreqTrans have a time limit?

Does the FreqTrans only hold a given frequency for so long? Because i cant link up my teleporters that are over 1000 blocks away. If so i can overcome this limitation with my friend and the /tp command but maybe teleporters have a distance limit? Any help is welcome.

Distance and time is not an issue, however, unloading chunks could be.

This guy Zeldo, made a mod for his mod that forces chucks to load called ChuckLoader if they have a specific item in them. Not sure if you can ask him for it or if he wants to release it later as a API. On the page I linked he mentions ChuckLoader.
