Im using IC2 1.15 on my SMP server and cant seem to get the canning machines to work. Its fully powered by a generator and i put a bio fuel cell in the top slot and an empty fuel can in the bottom slot and then... nothing happens. am I doing something wrong or is my server/client bugged? also i notice that the canning machine gui differs on my client from whats shown on the IC2 wiki although i dont know if thats at all related.
Question: How do canning machines work?

I have the same problem, im going to mess around with the placement of things and try to figure it out (maybe it no longer accepts fuel cans and theres an extra step?)
EDIT: my problem was that I forgot to put the H. Coal / Bio Cell into an extractor, you might have forgot to do that aswell but otherwise it might be an SMP bug. -
yep that was the problem. i was missing the bio cell to biofuel cell extraction. guess thats my own stupididty
