Stuck at one heart after holding refined uranium until death

Alright, so last night, for the heck of it (and testing), I held some refined uranium until my player died. At this point, I had one heart. This got me into an infinite loop of spawn, take damage, die due to the one heart. I had to go into creative mode to be able to spawn and get rid of the refined uranium. The problem now is that I am stuck at one heart and no idea how to get back to normal health. I can't find anyone on any wiki and I searched this forum with no result.

So, how do I return to normal health?

Tried to edit my post to fix text (it's enriched uranium, not refined uranium) and it won't let me saying it looks like spam. So, it was enriched uranium I was holding.

No I don't. Never heard of it.

Ok, I slept in a bed and got my hearts back, I think it "might" be an issue with Bountiful Baubles and the "broken heart" bauble. I had one in my baubles slot and just thought maybe related, so took it out, slept, and now it's back to normal. I guess it's a bad idea to hold enriched uranium with that bauble.
