Missing blocks in SMP

    Hi, I installed a server today with buildcraft/industrialcraft/redpower (1.8.1) and I noticed that all the blocks that have IDs with dashes in these mods were missing from both the creative mode inventory and TMI. Also, I tried using the /give command on some of the IDs and it says they're missing. I'm really confused as to what's going on. I've already done a fresh install making sure I downloaded everything in order. Also, I can see all the items in SSP (works fine too), it's just SMP that's the problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    It's the Server's problem; Notch messed it up, and so vanilla servers cant /give items with damage values..
    I think it's better in 1.9Pre4 or something... :O

    but it's not just the /give function, i can't even get it from TMI or creative mode, same issue?


    and is there anyway i could run 1.9 pre with the same versions of the mods? D=
