I was curious about this I set one up to see how it worked and found that I didn't get much range @64EU from a MFSU. I built a relay as well to test, but ran out of resources to expand my power grid. How many blocks do I get per EU spent?
[Question]What is the range to EU ratio for FFG?

1 block radius (cube shape) for every 8EU/s
If you use 8EU/s there is no space inside forcefield.
64EU/s ... 8 block radius. on eighth block is forcefield. 7 blocks space inside. Total space inside forcefield is cube with 7+7+1 (15) block long side. -
okay so at 256EU I would get 31 spaces inside. Now the question is if I have 2 machines spaced at 31 blocks apart would this expand the coverage of the shield?

at 256EU you get 31 spaces (radius) from field generator to force field wall. From one force field wall to other force field wall you get 63 spaces inside with force field generator in middle.
But is not possible to combine the two force field generators for one big field. From outside yes, you create big field, but every force field generator create own cube and inside is force field wall

almost worth it, but considering I have a large scale operation I think I will stick to tesla coils for defense.
