Question: How do I prevent IC2 items disappearing when I update from 1.15 to 1.23 (SMP)?

    Was running 1.15 on the server. I updated to 1.23 - started with a fresh jar and re-did from scratch with Forge 1.1.2 etc.
    Did a fresh client side install too.


    Join server, log in, all industrycraft related items are missing. So where there used to be a generator/MFE/cabling etc. there's now nothing. The lighting is slightly funny as if there was something there but I can just walk straight through it and can't interact with the items.


    I've reverted back to 1.15 and restored my world, everything working fine - reverting back to 1.15 after running 1.23 meant all my items were still missing, had to restore the world to get them back.

    Pretty much update right. If you don't update right and login your items will vanish. It means pretty much IC 1.23 not even working right. So revert and do it again!

    I always delete mine being someone runs pretty large server and I always redo them but that's up to you the configs should have no big difference. Make sure you deleted your old versions of IC also.
