Support Request: Minecraft crashes upon rightclicking furnace [SOLVED]

  • I have just setup a server exactly as it sais on the main page, yet when i create+place an iron furnace and rightclick on it the client crashes. In the FAQ section it sais this is due to an out-of-date modloader/modloadermp, yet this is not the case. I have tried it several times, always installing in the correct order, with/without buildcraft and redpower, in case it was an id conflict, etc. and was surprised it is industrialcraft2 itself with the error. I have even created a new client without redpower or buildcraft.

Here is the server-log of the last build, fresh build without other mods, only industrialcraft:

    [INFO] ModLoader Server 1.0.0 Initializing...
    [INFO] ModLoaderMP 1.0.0 Initialized
    [INFO] Mod Loaded: mod_IC2 v1.42
[INFO] Starting minecraft server version 1.0.1
    [INFO] Loading properties
[INFO] Starting Minecraft server on *:25565
    [INFO] Preparing level "world"
    [INFO] Default game type: 0
[INFO] Preparing start region for level 0
[INFO] Done (714744891ns)! For help, type "help" or "?"

    Serverfiles:
    fresh minecraft_server.jar download
    ModLoaderMp 1.0.1 Server
    minecraftforge-server-1.2.2
then copied industrialcraft-2-server_1.42.jar into the mods folder

    Clientfiles:
    original minecraft.jar
    ModLoader
    ModLoaderMp 1.0.0
    minecraftforge-client-1.2.2
then copied industrialcraft-2-client_1.42.jar into the mods folder

(All files are fresh downloads, after clicking on the links on the IC2 page)

Am I doing something wrong, am I being an idiot? If so, please tell me where I am mistaken.

Edit: I have just tried the Iron Furnace in SSP, it works there, so it must be a Servererror.

    • Official Post

    Search function is underestimated.

Most likely the same GuiID issue everyone has, discussed with solutions on at least two threads in this forum AND the blog itself.

  • Sorry for wasting your time, yes, it is the ID. Changed it and its working... Amazing Mod and very good work by the way, thank you so much for the mod and your time to answer my silly question. Didnt think to look through the Blog and must have missed it in the Forum.
