It was my understanding that:
The splitter is .025/b loss,
The detector is .5/b loss
Total loss is always rounded down.
I'm guessing:
EU input - Cable loss = x where x is then rounded down. (eg. 10-.525=9.475---->9)
Is this correct?

they both 0.5 check wiki
We have changed them recently so people couldn't abuse the cables as a replacement to glass fiber.
result is rounded UP i think
result is rounded to nearest value, 0.49 is 0
0.51 is 1
result is rounded to nearest value, 0.49 is 0
0.51 is 1
How come you can put 39 glass fibre cables without loss ? It's 39*0.025 = 0.975. According to you RESULT - 0.975 should be rounded to RESULT -1.
EU loss is always rounded down. Once you reach 1 EU you lose one, it doesn't matter if you should lose 1,01 or 1,99, its always 1 EU.
