every time I place a machine on top of my 4 block tall house, it becomes unuseable, I cant push it with a piston, i cant dismantle it with a wrench, and i cant use it, its just there, i can break it, but then i lose all the valuable things that were used to make it, Its really annoying, ive got a solar panel and a geothermal generator both stuck on my roof cause i cant dismantle them, and i already lost one solar panel today...

What version of forge are you using?
-
minecraftforge-client-1.4.0.55
why?
-
That's the problem.
You need .57 or better. (avoid .58 tho)
I haven't updated to .61, but .59 and .60 both work well. Haven't heard anything bad about .61
-
are you sure? when i downloaded ic2 i downloaded the newest version of mcforge that they had, maybe i missed something...
could you possibly provide a link to where the developers post the newest version and stuff? or maybe even a direct link?
thnx in advance -

sorry i already found it, thx tho, for some reason the link i was clicking from the prerequisites wasnt working
ok, upgraded forge, but that didnt fix the problem, at all
-
Try destroying the furnace with a pickaxe (sorry), replacing it and see what happens
-
well it seams the update may have fixed the problem, but it still wont let me take down the machines i already stuck there so its a waste of the valuable resources that were needed to make them...
-
I feel bad for you, it's that wrenching is handled by the exact part that Forge broke.
-
updating did indeed fix my problem, everything placed on my roof will work now, i cant believe the waste, 2 solar panels and a geothermal generator, the generator not as much but definately the solar panels, ive got short suplly of iron and redstone so making circuits adds up especially on my rubber and copper supply. but thanks for the help peeps

Know how you feel. I myself, have no problems using NEI or the like to replace items I have lost to a bug.
