I tried my hardest to see if anyone had suggested this earlier for IC2... but all I found was how Alblaka shot it down when it was suggested before.

In any case, since I heard that IC2 is taking advantage of Minecraft Forge... which has infinite sprites... maybe we can bring this back into consideration?
