Question: Is placing BatBoxes, MFE Units and MFS Units the proper way to avoid energy loss?

It's a really simple question - I just want to know if there are any special blocks to do that, for example, "EU Repeater" or something. I ask because it seems pretty weird, that the receiver will receive power for long after I stop sending it (because those repeaters are storage units).

The answer to the topic title is yes (the wiki says as much on the batbox page: "it is very useful to implement BatBoxes to both store power from generators and also as a method of extending the reach of your cable").

Transformers are usually better for that kind of use, especially as MFE's and MFSU's cost quite a few diamonds.
