i dont know what im doing here, but does any one know how to fix this crash

Try using IC² experimental versions and see if it fixes the problem.
The API got overhauled, alongside many new features (and a WIP energy network, beware).

The classic branch is discontinued. Try IC2 experimental instead (see link in the banner up top)
