Base recipe of ASP in hard and standart mode is same (exclude uran). Now is more balanced, than older version. 9 uu matter and 1 diamond not very expensive. 8 ASP must be more expensive than 1 HSP. Now 8 ASP = 1 HSP for Iridium cost. If my recipe is expensive, check GregTech solar recipe xD.
I can see the reason why it is changed but none the less it now looks severely more difficult (looking from the perspective of a player starting out) due to the requirement of uu-matter. I know uu-matter isn't hard to get but when people are setting up their systems it seems like a burden they would opt out of. I really do think the change would put people off but like I said.
Just my opinion of course. I'm still using it but I do think others could be turned away by it and switch to compact solars.

Changelog of Advanced Solar Panels v 3.3.3:
+ Rebalanced recipe of Advanced Solar Panel (now it's more difficult)
+ Fixed bug with RP frames (ASP not work at changed frames)The "Enable hard recipes" config option set to false doesn't change the advanced solar recipe at all. Not sure if that is intended or not.
I'm at the point where the recipe changes mean little though for new starts that change would be a real pain. Not sure how I feel about that. It seems overly costly too me. Diamonds are fair game but requiring uu-matter and iridium at that stage? I think it is a little too much.
Just my view of course.

Block Breakers aren't OP, in my opinion. Besides, Eloraam will rebalance them herself. So I say let her do it.
She plans on doing it, her tech tree just isn't at the level yet where she will add it. So yeah, I agree.

Ahh, No I think one my mods are broken just checking if something happen with the Q Suit when I was gone. I found that anything can now damage me. For example full suit fresh charged I take 2 hearts of of damage from skeleton arrow. I think one my mods must have derped up bad not sure where to look first.
It's an IC2 bug. Should be fixed in the upcoming release.

I will contact Slopoke with a very simple solution: Making just 2 Packs (The FTB-Launcher is suited for more than one Pack), one Version with GregTech and one without (or with the easy Config).
And Richard: Etho disliked Mods before, because they all were making things way too easy, so if the only really difficult/complex Mod inside the FTB-Pack vanishs, do you think Etho would like to keep it happyly running with Modded Minecraft? I dont think so (unless Redpower gets released).
That would be a sensible thing to do anyway. Making dramatic changes to the pack after people have put so much work into things that could then be removed could really annoy people. It would annoy me for sure. -
Looking at some items I have that currently seem important but have very few current uses... can you think of a use for nether stars? Either in terms of macerating or use?

Dungeon Loot has already all the needed Stuff. But I plan to make some better Industrial Ruins.

Another possible suggestion for you. Do you at all link in with the dungeon loot stuff? If so couldn't you add a few random rare items to chests? Would be a pretty neat find and anything that promotes exploring is awesome in my book

I think that the rock cutter is too powerful, with 1 hour of mining, I get almost 1 full gold chest of redstone and its too easy to maintain (electricity only)
Speak for yourself. You can do the same with a diamond pickaxe now thanks to the anvil repair functionality. -

Apparently it has something to do with the specific addons needing to be compiled with the newest version of NEI. That's about all I know.

That would depend on if Forge has a hook for the Beacon Block (if they don't already). Personally I wouldn't mind it as an extra little thing (I usually just toy with the beacon pyramids when I get bored).
If there would be a Forgehook then i would use it.I really hope a hook exists or is added then since this could be quite a nice way to use up spare ruby and sapphire blocks (emerald blocks can already be used per vanilla).

Since your addon adds the ability to compress sapphires and rubies (via the IC compressor), would it be possible for you to make these usable in the beacon pyramid? Seems fitting since they are gems?
