Hey, I could use some help getting onto the server. when trying to join the kiara 4 server, I am getting a "fatally missing blocks and items" error. I have checked and double checked all my mods are consistent with the list in this post, and I am using the configs from the OP. I really do not know what to do. any help would be appreciated

I've been thinking, By the time you advance to the electric tier, you already have a steam producing infrastructure, but once you get electricity, you have no immediate method of producing electricity from it. I suggest that you add a small, cheap steam turbine that is slightly more efficient than a generator. It would also help with other steam-producing power generation options, since without railcraft, you cannot get any meaningful energy from steam until you produce the large amount you need to power the large steam turbine.

I would rather see a gregtech-awesomeified rework of ore processing. (which is planned)

Personally, I wouldn't mind this system, if there were more ways to control your energy flow. we need higher capacity wires, and better transformers that act like valves.

It could be because exploiting bugs is cheating, and you might as well give yourself infinite obsidian through NEI.

Trying to make a water-based generator nonrenewable is just going to lead to a whole lot of exploits. As long as you make its output only slightly higher than an equivalent amount of resources worth of solar panels or windmills, and have it require occasional maintenance and higher tier materials, I think it should be fine. I like the idea of having it require a large reservoir, but it shouldn't have to consume water.

I don't think it is any more unrealistic than free minerals from bees. That said, using them for ore processing would be weird. I like the idea of bacteria as 'industrial bees" with more realistic genetics and requiring resource input, but they should be limited to organic products. ( one of the reasons I don't really like extra bees, I don't mind most of the things, but producing metals and other naturally nonrenewable resources is weird(also, the spelling of "weird" is weird))

AESUs are simply never worth the cost. Using several MFSUs is much cheaper, and better in every way.

I'm not saying to replace the machine casings, simply allow special versions of machine boxes to be used in place of them. I can't imagine using more that a couple of machine boxes in a multiblock. and it wouldn't be any laggier than your automation already is.

masterP. I think that it wouldn't be too hard if lithium was made renewable. I think you should be able to centrifuge it from water. especially since once you set up the reactor, you can breed lithium in the reactor walls.
Also, chemistry is physics.

That will not work. tritium basically doesn't exist in nature. I have been gunning for the lithium breeding thing, either breeding lithium in a nuclear reactor, or in special modules in the sides of a fusion reactor.

I was thinking, the machine box recipe is actually pretty expensive given the alternatives. Considering that a small electric buffer can do everything except liquid transfer, and is much cheaper. Maybe the machine box recipe should yield 4-8 machine boxes?
On the topic of machine boxes, it would be pretty useful if you could make versions of machine boxes that also fact as machine casings. They should be more expensive, of course, but they would help with automation.
Finally, could you make the universal macerator be switched between recipe sets with a button or screwdriver? The automatic detection thing doesn't work very well, since different recipes are usefull for different things. (also, how about a multiblock version? It seems kinda wimpy compared to the RC rock crusher)

A couple comments on the new changes:
Could you make all recipes requiring tools be able to be made in a machine? in particular, turbine blades and tools can't be made automatically.
Could you allow heating coils to be made in the lathe, so I don't have to use MJ?
Also, It would be nice if the wolframium grinder heads could be a bit cheaper if made with tungstensteel
And while you are adding new tools, is there any chance of an advanced rock cutter?

80 reactors of that size are still cheaper than a fusion reactor, plus he probably needs the power in order to make a fusion reactor. anyway, I have made an arguably more insane reactor design that I will definitely post about one of these days.
