unless you somehow limit the number of cows it can extract from (i.e. only increase methane production up to 5 cows) then limit the number of machines in an area, then they will have to put the 10 000 cows spread out over a larger area.
Alternate idea: make cows/pigs drop manure after they eat (brown snow-like block maybe?) then have a multi-block decomposer which you put that manure in to get methane (also use same machine for the current biomaterials -> methane recipes, less recipes for centrifuge).
Railcraft really helps For cows for power, Try putting 2 Cows in an Enclosed Place, feed them using RC feeders, then have the Babies drop a few blocks onto a Platform. Pick the Cows off of the platform with an Embarking track, then detect if they are old enough to have Drops with the Age Detector, if they are not, reroute the Track to drop them back into the platform, if they are, Drop em into a pit with something that kills em (TC3 Iron Golems, GOTM Saw's ect.), pick em up with something, then shove meat into Centrafuge
I usually use Chickens though, since no fall damage.

I suggest that the Ultimate Hybrid Solar Panel recipe requires a Hybrid Solar Panel instead of an Advanced Solar Panel in the recipe and the recipe with 8 Hybrid Solar Panels with an advanced circuit gets removed, so that the new recipe will look like this:
It also prevents people from skipping the Hybrid Solar Panel.
But then it becuase less Efficient then just the Hybrids on their own, since roughly the same amount off Materials for that recipie as the 8 Hybrids, and 8 hybrids generate the same amount of EU as the Ultimate.
RP2 Tunnel bore still beats all, set it up with some thermopiles inside and it will run forever, doesnt need Matainence, gets you a ton of ores, And just Recycle/Burn all the stuff you dont want (Cobble, Dirt, Gravel...)
I ran a 16 by 32 Circular bore for 1 hour and got 22 stacks of redstone, 12 stacks of iron, 16 stacks of copper, about a stack of uranium, 23 diamonds and 7 stacks in tin (as well as some other things, silver, gold, lead blah blah blah)
Only Problem is that its expensive and annoying to make

Greg, what about making the UUM even more Expensive ? I mean, increasing its price would makes more recipe possible, because for now, creating even more advanced machines is just stupid when it costs as much energy to get some byproducts from those than creating the said byproducts with UUM ... I know, there isn't such a machines for now, but ...
As a counterparts, I think it would need making a machine that produce Iridium from Gold/Platinium [Because of periodic classification] + Uranium (for He kerns, that are produced because of Radioactive decay, even not fission) at something lower than their current cost with UUM, but of course more expensive than their price with Fusion Reactor (Something like 30 000 000 EU instead of 120 000 000 ?]. The main point of it would be to make Iridium available by other means than quarry (because I hate massive usage of quarry, that's just what kill all the game to me :/) ...
If you think such a machine would be weird if only meant to produce Iridium, then think of Research System! I think some kind of transmutation would be cool, but at very high cost of EU and not "Equivalent" at all.

I was actually planning on a Super Awesome Atomic Reconfigurator IC2 addon that takes a ton of eu to make Neutrons, Protons and Electrons, and you use them To make Any Elements (That are in the game)
Unfortuantly, since Gold actually has less electrons/protons then Lead, Lead would be more expensive then gold q.q So i would have to nerf that a fair bit.
Of course, to make the Process more efficient, Decompose scrap in another Machine and pipe the Protons, Electrons and nuetrons into the Reconfigurator to save some EU. UU Matter could be a rare byproduct of making Elements, and would Replace the Mass fab.
Although im pretty bad at coding so i have a feeling it will take a while.... *herp derp*

Yeah, from what I've understood during my two years of coding for Linde gas* it should be based on boiling point.
I'd love to see a new machine and make it possible to have varying sizes for it. E.g 1x2 would be the most basic one that only gives you oxygen and nitrogen with relatively bad efficiency. Going to 3x3x4 would make it more efficient but still just O2+N2. Something huge like 5x5x8 would allow pumping in enough gases that separating rare stuff becomes possible (H2, Kr, Ne, He, Ar). Using higher levels of machine casings might allow for higher pressure in the tank and thus either improve efficiency or allow extracting more rare stuff in smaller towers.
Only problem would be what could we do with the rare gases
I guess argon could be used for some high-tech metalwroking. Neon and crypton for, well, neon lights.
