I hope more than Gold right ? Wait ... DON'T NERF CLAY! I LOVE IT AS IT IS! Ok, there's maybe too much of it but ... Btw, will you a day add any machine making Cobble useful ? (with cobble to scrap disabled). I mean, I'm one of the guy that harvest it with tools, and I don't wanna waste it xD. Maybe a GregTech Better-than-Quarry-but-consuming-steel-and-others-such-as-RC-Boiler ? I need that I wanna power a quarry with Nuclear Reactors
Thats easy if you have Reator Steam enabled :3
If i get better at MCjava i will force enable Steam reactors and add RITEG's -

Currently toying around in a test install. Uranium cells are bugged in the GregTech computercube, unsure whether it's IC2's or Greg's fault. Also not important.
Much like Peppe reported, thorium is nerfed to half and plutonium is running insanely hot.
Currently examining plutonium efficiency. It actually scales quite nicely - if you place 1 reflector next to it, it acts as if there were 2 reflectors, due to the double pulse. As a result, maximum theoretical efficiency is 11 rather than 7 for a quad plutonium cell surrounded by reflectors.
I say 'theoretical' because that setup was impossible to cool in 1.4.7 and in 1.5.1 it is so much worse. I can't even get anywhere near a triple reflector setup, the reactor just liquifuies the moment I touch the simulation start button.
For starters, this is the best I could come up with - in the 1.4.7 planner it looks overcooled, but in 1.5.1 it just barely stays stable (we're talking somewhere around 670-680 heat here). Under the new plutonium rules, that's an efficiency 7 reactor (because it treats the 2 reflectors as if they were four). This is actually not half bad. Efficiency 7 quad plutonium was, as mentioned before, uncoolable in 1.4.7, but now it actually runs with just internal vents! And it only takes two of those mind numbingly expensive iridium neutron reflectors instead of 4. (Disclaimer: the realworld implementation reactor hasn't finished its cycle yet, but it looks okay so far...)
I'll freely concede that this is a clear buff, although one that does not yet reach the sheer convenience of hybrid reactors... after all, for every quad plutonium cell you're going to have four quad thorium cells piling up in your storage. And getting those consumed at a similar efficiency is going to be difficult because you'll need at least twice as many reflectors. And even then you're going to spend 5 out of 6 reactor cycles on slow, low-yield thorium...
More later, I got a spreadsheet to fill up, and then I'm going to test if I can get the "hybrid effect" to work in any shape or form.
After Plutonium Buff the max Efficiency is now actually 14, not sure how though.

It is possible to check if the click was made by a real Player (EntityPlayerMP) or not (EntityFakePlayer).

Applied energistics has a Handcranked Macerator like thing, which is supah OP.
If it took like 2 minutes per ore it would be fine but...
COGM has a Clockwork Thing that you Hold right click to wind it up and it uses up like 2 Full hunger bars to fill it up, and you cant wind it up after you make the tool (you need to use the Winding machine for that), which is cool. -
NO! Only supercoductors have quantum trapping when in a magnetic field and it is cold enough.
Those guys can travel along shaped magnetic fields, and I was always wondering if you can make a floating device when having the magnet connected to the SC...Im not talking about Quantum Trapping, but simple Magnetism
"if you use a Large enough magnet, Even the small amounts of trace iron in say a Strawberry would allow it to hover, yet alone Big lumps of iron on your feet."
The Player is pretty heavy (Probably) hence the large amount of power needed. -
Don't take us siriusly. We are just making sirius jokes about an accidental mispell I made long time ago.
Dont worry Gregoriuz, im not
What would be really cool is an Electromagnet that acts a bit like an Anti-Gravity Field if your wearing Iron boots, so you can slowly fly if you are near it (say within 10 Blocks) and would require a constant 128eu/t (Or more for balance, would be a nice use for that 66keu/t my fusion reactor generates). Something similar happens with Super Conductors and Electromagnets using Quantum Trapping but if you use a Large enough magnet, Even the small amounts of trace iron in say a Strawberry would allow it to hover, yet alone Big lumps of iron on your feet. The Flight should be like the Haxor Client flight/MMPowersuit Flight Control/Singleplayercommands Flight, where you look at where you want to go instead of Creative flying.
There was a video of someone dropping a strawberry down a huge Electromagnet that was about 2 meters tall and it took 3 minutes to get to the bottom, hence the idea

Could you please add a link to "prove" that ? Because I assume harnessing ionized particles on a wall ... is quite hard lol. It'd also be the quicker way to turn your wall into radioactive waste
Quote fail.

First : I dont have the enderpouch.
Second: Then get 2 or three chainsaws and when you finish charge all of them.Oh right, forgot you dont.
And hey, a chest full of chainsaws is always fun! -
:3 If you need moar Sprites/models RG/IC2 Crew just ask
-
Could you please, explain this statement ? I mean, maybe it'd be clearer with some " " " and ... could you explain us how it's related with that thread ?
He's making a factory
And Isnt it annoying when you run out of power on your chain saw? Wearing some armour that doesnt recharge your stuff and not close to a batbox? Throw it away and grab another from your Enderpouch linked to a chainsaw factory xD -
Add your own while they don't add the recipe/sprite.
You can use Sirus sprites.I know they did SOMETHING to night vision goggles: http://ic2api.player.to:8080/job/IC2_lf/265/changes#detail0

The Reactor planner cant calculate heating cells properly, so your reactor is overheating. If you have GT, use its computer cube (although its a pain in the ass to use :P)

Like lasers. The same laser used for peaceful mining can be used as an effective weapon
And that where you are unfortunately wrong. It is feasible to directly convert energetic alpha particle into electricity, by slamming it to the reactor wall charged with +1.5 million volts, and it will generate electricity... Although it will generate a lot of heat .The direct conversion process is about 70%, so a 100 MW fusion output reactor would generate 70 MW electrical and 30 MW heat!!, although it will be more efficient than to convert alpha particle to heat that used to drive a steam turbine, as steam turbine efficiency is about 37%, so the same 100 fusion output reactor would generate 37 MW electrical and 63 MW heat!!!!!!! And that is a lot of waste heat that should go somewhere! Fortunately, that same 30 MW waste heat from direct conversion could be used to drive a steam turbine, so the same 100 MW fusion output reactor could generate 70 MW electrical, and that 30 MW heat is used to drive that same 37% efficient turbine can generate 11.1 MW electrical and 18.9 MW heat, which is more manageable.
But the heat is what you actually use to heat the steam and generate electricity....
USE BOTH!!!! -
Okay, "fill your whole inventory with UUM blocks" (assuming they implement one sometime).
so when crafting they would give... 9x the amount?

If you want i can make textures for you, that is, if your not satisfied with the ones you have done.
