I think the thread about people electrocuting themselves is more off topic, at least this thread is Minecraft based.

No no, the loader thing is different. Ignore it.
For your problem the best thing to do is try just version 0.8 (or what ever it is) on it's own, without 0.5 as well (since that's what the crash is).

I've looked over the BluePower textures, and it's pretty brutal how many there are. Especially the gates. I don't understand how you were that patient to go through all of them.

There is a resource pack that adds back the old Redpower textures, but it seems to have a few bugs.

And REI's Minimap was updated by someone else. Rishu's gone, you're someone else, therefore it's only right that you update it.

It's on the forum page, and it's not like he didn't support them doing it (even though I thought he made it).
You need Modloader to annoy the maker of Modloader MP. Especially since Forge used to need both.

Risugami didn't have any Javadocs, why should I?
Yes he did: http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/20629262/Lat…r%20Javadoc.zip -

It sounds like those rules have been broken at least twice

Only in Russia do you need to go down a ladder and onto a sofa before you check to see if you're still alive
-
Not Redpower, I just meant he ported IC2 from 1.4.7, so it's not like it's the first time he's done it

Try holding right click and pressing the mode switch key. Sometimes it needs updating to show.
-
Ironically, immibis has done both

ProjectRed was to avoid getting complained at for being so close to Redpower
Redlogic was just the lighting and redstone, and came first
BluePower is a buggy mess, but was always designed to be mostly Redpower, just with Quetzi and co's undesired bits removed (think Project Table plans for example) -
Do you have the javadocs for Nuclear Control Loader yet?
-
This would not be a Redpower clone. This would be Redpower. Just it can't be, since Elo would get angry and claim she still wants it. Although she'd probably help if she still liked Minecraft.

I always thought that it was current that was dangerous, not voltage. But any number higher than fits in a battery sounds scary.

To be honest I'd never rather touch a live wire at all. How do you guys manage to accidentally do it, and find it's fine?
