How is it OP? Compared to other forms of "immortal" armour, it is crazy expensive. You have the nano-suit for "cheap" (ignoring the 16 diamonds needed, +16 for MFE) near, yet not full normal damage protection.

Cables have no limit on what they can transfer. They never have, simply they used to fry if the EU/t limit was breached.
Right now, I'm not completely sure how it's sending EU packet wise. It kept changing so I stopped trying to understand it. Pretty sure it's just given in 1 packet of the maximum a device can output, and any extra EU left over each tick is kinda stored in the cables until it can be used. Maybe.
I'm pretty sure adding transformer upgrades lets machines accept more EU/t, meaning you could theoretically provide more EU to them per tick.

They still are totally necessary, it's just machine explosions have been turned off while the E-net is messed with.

I think at that point, the weapons will just set your health to 0, so there would be no way to avoid it using anything

This seems to be much more relevant now, since Tinkers recently added new bows that seem to ignore armour, Blood Magic has armour avoiding stuff, it seems like the new cool thing to do is ignore armour.
The Q-suit's invincibility making you invincible to anything would be a massive reason to actually craft it (since it's so expensive compared to other "immortal" armours).

RF input/output detection may not always work properly.
Guessing this might be a reason, just made worse as mods changed, but E-net bridge didn't?

I don't think they'd be that stressed if they suddenly didn't have to spend weeks/months updating Forge. Most mod devs might have a few complaints though.

My testing suggests you cannot currently convert RF to EU via enetbridge. Hopefully someone can confirm and we can ask player to revise the mod description for now.
You should be able to, it's just it's broken with all the general RF API changes (I think)
