that said, block:tin and block:copper are going to be interesting...perhaps block:[mod]_[type] or block:mod:type needs to become the unwritten rule.
Like block:ic2_copper? Or, IC2 could just over write any other mod's blocks, meaning people with multiple versions of metal blocks need IC2

People use trade-o-mats on that kind of scale? I always thought they were just for the poor people to buy cheap things from early game
I'm pretty sure they re-wrote how blocks and items work again, or at least removed meta data.
Buildcraft 6.1 is very much alpha, so you can't expect IC2 to be out right compatible, when nearly everyone uses the stable 6.0.17 build instead
Universal Fluid Cells don't work in the recipe. Your best bet is to place the coolant in the world by right clicking the universal fluid cell on the ground, then pick it up with a normal empty cell and use those.
And Thunder's link will show you how to make it right next time

Crops were essentially the last big thing that Alblaka added before vanishing. There isn't really a great guide anywhere, but there are some about which are pretty good.
Letting the iron furnace accept heat would actually be really cool, since very few people actually make it other than when making generators. It would be a bit like Factorization's furnace heater letting you use it's power to run vanilla furnaces.
If we had kinetic macerators, we'd really need hand cranks to power them, so you could end up with slow, yet early game maceration.
And a standard furnace (not blast) that runs on hU would be cool too.

The point with that is Greg adds crops. In normal IC2 the only thing I go for is coffee and hops because brewing is also under used and fun, and occasionally I get the iron and gold plants, but that's pretty much it. If IC2 had even half the crops GT added, it would be much more worth while.

Actually, I have 4 suggestions:
1. Since vanilla IC2 Q-suit has flight, can IC2CA's have faster flight by adding the jetpack in the assembler?
2. Does the mod support localisations? I really want to change all the armors to armours
3. Can we get an integrated CF backpack option, so you can still spray CF with your Q-suit on?
4. And the same for the fuel jetpack, for the poorer nano-suit owners out there?
