What happens to my steam generator now then? Is it just broken and needs to be broken and replaced? It took so much longer to heat up than it did produce steam too

I succeeded in reaching 100 heat, after several 1000 lava cells, and managed to get lots of steam. But the calcification percentage, which I expected to go past 100% and Thunderdark complain at me for doing, did in fact work, and now it's broken

^ That is obviously wrong, as there is no way to have heat vents face upwards, so I shape is out

How about a visual representation of your idea? What kinda size and what blocks for the multi-block?

Can you make it so that giving them a redstone signal will stop the damage to the rotor and stop it generating power by stopping it from turning?
Right now, the best way I can see right now is getting a sticky piston to push a block in the way of the blades. It works, but it's not a very IC2y way of doing it. It also turns out that that lets you generate free EU, as the Kinetic Generator doesn't update that the windmill has stopped

No, they seem to port over OK.Experimental documentation consists of what you find yourself, and asking other people what they've found here pretty much. I've tested a lot of the new mechanics quite a bit, but they often change so I've given up trying to document it.

Some of them really aren't. The range of additions to basic starting all the way to end game machinery is great, experimental is really what IC2 needed. Except the E-net. But we have heat and rotation as an energy system too now -
Not for the windows ones. And it sounds more like he wants an all programs style list.

Wow, that's not too bad I suppose. Will it work with say TE's or Railcraft's steam needing things? How do you get super heated steam too?

How are you meant to heat it up, I used a Liquid Heat Exchanger with lava in and 3 vents, but even 100 Heat didn't heat the steam generator quickly. Is there a better way to do it?
