Fluid Regulators automatically output, and I'm pretty sure the fluid distributors do too.

Because Buildcraft and Redpower mainly. But now we've got your own fluid pipes, despite being very expensive (but with a massive through output), and with a sorting machine we do need pipes to finish the stuff transferring collection off.

Where's it say that? On the redistribution section of the OP it says:
Note that you don't have to explicitly state that you agreed to these therms, it's being assumed by redistributing FastCraft, which you may not do otherwise anyway. It's however still appreciated if you say in which mod packs you included FastCraft just so I can get a rough idea where it's being used.

Depending on how broken everything is and how much time Player and Aroma have, anywhere I'd say from a few weeks to a few months.

That's a lot of effort to combine 4G maps with weather heat maps just to find out something I don't especially care about. Someone else go do it and feel pleased with yourself.

Defining efficiency was done years ago, it was originally just for Uranium but GT Thorium and Plutonium both respected it. The issues rise when MOX can change it's output based off heat, and fluid reactors too change their output, so getting accurate values for comparison gets harder and harder the more factors you bring in.

Bearing in mind the first of those 2 solutions was co-authored by one of the IC2 devs, it's literally as close as you're going to get. Sitting about whining about Player being slow won't (and doesn't) work.

You have to have low steam production for them to be able to, like 1mb/t of water in a steam gen to use them without any vents or power.

You have to have condensers touching all the kinetic generators that are receiving normal steam or this happens.

Do you have a screenshot of the recipe you're trying to use? Does the turning blank have drill in the tooltip?

Machines are the obvious choice, you can never have too many machines as long as they're doing different things.
Generators would be interesting though as there's quite big disparity between the normal generator and solar panels compared to the big windmills and reactors. Generators that can produce medium levels but not totally insane amounts could be cool if done right.

It would make a lot more sense for you to write the guide on the wiki and link it from the post. 10,000 characters doesn't last long with indepth topics like reactors.
