Omicron hasn't been on the forum in 118 days so I'd say no. Unless one of the forum mods edits it.

IC2 has loaded it's recipes from the jar for years, it added the ability to load machine recipes from it too a few weeks ago but being able to use the config folder instead of modifying the jar directly is definitely new.

It does mention it in the IC2.ini file:

[recipes]
; To modify recipes or add custom recipes, copy the corresponding .ini file to
; "minecraft/config/ic2" and modify it.

Ironically that file doesn't work if you move it into the ic2 folder as well.

The ones in the config take priority to the ones in the jar. The ini files go in /config/ic2.

You can always be a big cheat and put it all into a tank. As long as all the steam is transferred per tick there's no steam explosions.

Just because something is a valid place in the multiblock, if the multiblock itself isn't completely build then it won't do anything (unless of course you're affecting it externally anyway like with redstone). I just presumed that the hole in the wall was to show that it had a reactor inside and not how it was being used.

I have a version for 1.2.5, not sure if it's the exact right one but it's better than nothing.

Doesn't matter now anyway, it's been fixed in 759.

Should warn you there's quite a few fluid regulator crashes with builds 752+.

Wrong, it does. You can put it anywhere apart from the outer frame. And even then you can put it there, it just doesn't do anything..

I tried replicating your bug, but the cables connect every time from any side. Don't remember anything happening in terms of cabling and reactors from 733 to 758 either.

Update your IC2. You're 99 builds behind, and that bug was definitely fixed in one of them.

It does that, you have to add the site as an exception in the Java settings.

When uranium runs out, it creates depleted uranium that can be turned into plutonium. Plutonium and Uranium-238 together gets MOX fuel.

MOX designs output are based off how hot the reactor is, using Uranium makes the maths more precise.
