Nothing at all is very bad, and something would show up in the log that it failed to generate. If it didn't, then it definitely going somewhere.

Nuclear Control (2) jumps straight to mind, advanced machines and solar panels too. I guess compact solars, since the compactness does reduce lag. IHl if you're wanting an interesting challenge, it adds really cool stuff, just Gregtech style complicated recipes. They aren't actually that expensive like Gregtech though

The Last Version where IC2 Had an offical Release was at 1.4.7.
*1.4.5As nice as not having any debug/test builds are, without them we'd just have a stagnant IC2, which was what people were complaining about pre experimental. We needed the test builds to see IC2 was still going, it was just it never managed to get where it was going, as there was never enough time for anything. Without Alblaka, overhauling anything was unlikely pre experimental, as well as the fact the other devs just didn't have time.

They probably would be, it's just the people who used to do that have either vanished or moved onto Gregtech. And, the devs have no time to do anything themselves. Slowly we're getting there though.

Redstone signal = off I never really liked, mainly as the switch cable can cut power on receiving a redstone signal, so it's down to you to design well to integrate that, over just lever on the machine - done. Also, that reverses the redstone logic with the industrial furnace and thermal centrifuge

It's just how no biome mod seems to make any effort to try and blend the new and old. Unless there's no way to tell the difference between terrain generated before having the mod to while having it, in which case meh.

I really don't see why biomes mods have such large issues with connecting to pre-existing worlds.
