i thought about installing journeymap on my client, and there are editions with features like radar and cave mapping disabled, so i wanted to ask if i can use the version with all features or one with limited features.
EDIT: for now i'll just use the one with most limited features.

No, mainly because I don't know how to increase permgen allocation, only ram. Also, I got everything working now, but whenever I attempt to join it tells me "fatally missing blocks and items".
EDIT: it stopped telling "fatally missing blocks and items", now it just freezes, and when I stop it, the game output tells me java.lang.outOfMemoryError: PermGen space.
EDIT AGAIN: fixed it, can play now

I'll try removing this CustomOreGen_Config.xml, and at the end it said "shutting down internal server", so it was probably crashing, but it was 2 am, so I stopped it, posted, and went to bed.
Did you increase your permgen allocation btw ?
I downloaded all the mods listed in the op and installed them, and now I'm trying to create a world, and a window opens on the top left of my screen which is named "CustomOregen Config Error". is this normal?

So I tried creating a new world for 45 minutes or so, nothing happened(aka minecraft was frozen), and then just stopped minecraft via task manager, and will just attach every log from this day I find in my folder, because i didn't actually crash.
Did you copy the configs from the OP?
Removing the CustomOreGen_Config.xml might solve the erroring problem. Also, COG is very, very heavy on world gen sometimes (but 45min sounds very excessive)

What I meant "All machines mentioned are forestry only", as in, you can generate forestry fertilizer within a forestry fermenter and this is good enough to keep up with a multifarm ?
I'm not sure about the fertilizer consumption into the farms but from what I remember playing it on hard mode it was taking for ever to use some fertilizer, even the slowest chemical reactor would keep up with the need and processing apatite will be more interesting. Plus setting a biogas farm would be excellent to keep a farm going since it produces fertilizer through the fermenter which can be sent into a packager!<snip>

GalacticGreg 0.4 now should work server side only. So no need for everyone else put it in the pack.
Also currently the only way to deactivate the End asteroids is to disable them in every oremix config. Else there whould be a way for limitless Naquada in the end after the update.
I am ok with that, it seems that the end consumes many player souls already.
Allowing shapeless crafting of IC2 fertilizer into forestry one should be enough. Greg already made IC2 fertilizer be craftable only with the chemical reactor, using proper elements.
I know Airam agrees, does anyone feel this should not be done ?

Display MoreCould we update to Railcraft 9.4.0.0 please? It fixes a very critical bug with minecarts, specifically this one:
FIX: Supported vanilla cart entities are now properly replaced with Railcraft's implementation on use. (many thanks to Yopu!)
Without this, chest minecarts cannot properly load railcraft minecarts, which is pretty much mandatory considering our nerfed stack sizes. I believe this also affects detector blocks and furnace minecarts.
I will update it this evening.
had a break, came back to my very early game base on k3 and directly got a tc-related crash, sounds really like i should start a sp world without tc instead...
That is the very old bug we had with the essentia buffers. There is a class file patch around the thread somewhere, overwrite that in the mod jar and remove the buffers. Then replace it with the normal jar again.
