Its true, removing that other fuel cell would increase the efficiency but would mean more reactors, so its up in the air as to which is cheaper overall. Keep in mind the challenge is to create a perfect breeder that maximizes the number of cells that can be recharged, not a perfectly efficient breeder.
I am in the process of trying to create a perfect breeder that can "recharge" as many near depleted isotope cells as possible. This is my best attempt to date, I wanted to see if anyone could improve upon what I've done here
So, it recharges 5 cells using 2 cells, for an overall efficiency of 2.5 I suppose. Curious to see if
the efficiency ORthe maximum number of cells can be increased while keeping it a perfect breeder. Have at thee my comrades!
*edit* scratch the efficiency part, I realized how I could easily make my breeder have an efficiency of 4. Too easy of a challenge.
