Yo Greg. I am currently drinking pineapple hard cider and it's quite tasty. Peter said I should let you know because you like adding drinks.
Some user on the FTB reddit found a crash involving Fastcraft, Biomes o' Plenty, BattleTowers, and my mod Flaxbeard's Steam Power. https://github.com/Esteemed-In…ds-Steam-Power/issues/358 I have no idea how this could be on my end as the mod uses very simple and standard ore generation code. Mind taking a look at the crash report in the issue I previously mentioned? Sorry about the formatting, I beautified it as much as the existing stacktrace beautification software can handle; the OP on the reddit put it all on a single line.
All things considered, I'm not entirely sure what to do with, about, or around him. All I know is that because he runs half of the FTB Wiki, I answer to him in writing and have to not screw up the orderly systems he and Santa have established (no matter how much Lord Helix tells me otherwise).
Added all of those (and merged the crowbar ones) to the repository.
I will try and do some work on the wiki for you
EDIT: Wiki appears to be down 504 error
EDIT2: Wiki is back up will get to work!!!
I apologize for the frequent downtime lately. We are hoping for this to change (as well as a few other... things) within the next couple of weeks.
No, don't link videos on the wiki. That's against the wiki's policies/rules.
Just to explain the reason for this before someone asks:
- It makes it appear bias towards a single video creator. Why choose this one over this one? This could also cause edit warring.
- It makes pages load EVEN slower.
- Videos are often inaccurate/have non-encyclopedic tone (not necessarily jokes, but things similar to it)
There are probably more reasons, but I can't remember them.
Alright, pretty sure I updated everything on the github
Is there any future possibility to enable Gregtech 5 Cables, Wire and Pipes to work with Forge's covers and other mods Facades?
I would love to be able to disguise them more neatly - I also don't want my NEI bogging down anymore with yet another mods Ump-teen Facades in my inventory.
I like how Project Red built their new Wire Frame Cables, in that, they can use any Forge Multiblock cover to "wrap" them, and they can also be covered, or surrounded by covers or a hollow cover.
I also like how AE2 makes a "one size fits all" Facade that does everything, in that you simply pot it on and it adjusts to the item intelligently - if its a screen, it wraps it, if its a pipe, it passes through it, etc, and you can even still access the GUI's through the facade!
It would be totally cool if Gregtech cables wire and pipes could do this too.
>implying forge multipart is not awful
Who cares about mDiyo anyway, he's gone now. Now we wait for his bitchy bullshit incompatibility code to leave with him
>implying he has not left 50 thousand times in the past
He'll be back.
Added all your stuff to the github DreamMaster, I also replaced all RC plates with the oreDict plates
Rubber Sheet: I agree with you.
RTG cart: Why not just hook up a CESU cart to the locomotive?...
Since the navigation box of all the things in IC2 is woefully out of date, it's probably not helping the updating of everything on the wiki. All I really wanted to do was point out this utility which could make it faster for the poor person who has to in the end
Just stopping by to say that Jin's navbox creator shouldn't really be used for anything anymore...
http://alicecomma.comuv.com/ftb-apps/ This one by the other ex-FTB wiki staff person is much better
yeah but you need to remember that most of the people are too lazy to change most of the machines / recipes from other mods. especially when we talking about making it gregtech like..
In my opinion, people that lazy shouldn't be playing GregTech... That's like playing Blood N Bones for a casual playthrough...
also you can't do everything with minetweaker modtweaker combo...
Then submit a pull request or something
are you blind or something?
codding it will have a lot of pluses
1. everyone will have the same version and it will be easier to make mod pack, OR REMEMBER THE RECIPES... it will be easier to remember it if there will be only 1 version for everyone
2. there will be possibilities to implement some new items (only for crafting) that require gregs machines to craft
3. it's a lot easier that way, just look at that thread that you are talking about, there is almost nothing there.
4. again, 1 version for everyone means EASYNESS everyone will remember it even if it will be in different modpacks or servers
1. Nobody remembers GT recipes... If they do, they are insane.
2. Any mod can do that.
There really isn't a point for that mod. MineTweaker and ModTweaker can do it fine.
I have been tunneling at y = 61 and y = 52 for few hundred blocks, and i couldn't find even a single bauxite ore
One thing I've learned since the changes between 1.5 and 1.7 GT, don't tunnel. Quarry. This is even more true if you play with PFAA, like I do.
