did everyone's item ID's just go crazy in 1.4.6? It seems like items are the wrong id's now even from the config lol.

Not sure if this has been suggested yet, but how about a jetpack that uses a lapotron crystal, (maybe something like steel, or titanium too) that also has no limit of height. because i find it somwhat odd that everything else has an upgraded version, but not those
Id like to see something like this. But not steel that is to heavy id assume but we need a lot more rare parts and I mean really rare.

So, just out of curiosity, how does one add a macerator recipe using the IC2 API that uses an ore from the ore dictionary (i.e. copper)?
I suggest you post this in the right forum section. Not only people like Greg will usually answer but it will also help future people who also want to know and or learn.

Updated! Haven't tested it alot yet though. I fixed the ENet implementation but am not entirely sure I did it correctly though :P.
Oh and everyone with old worlds: If it says there is an ID conflict when loading your world, its just me using new forge methods and you can PROBABLY disregard it :).Do you know what effect that has on SMP? I will give it a try when I get everything updated. Dropbox was being a jerk today for me. I remember having a issue like this with another mod before but in SMP it really screwed up a lot you had to close the client for reconnects.

Good Idea. I think I will add a cheaty Version of it.
Its 1 Platinum vs 1 Iridium. they are both useful in Circuits. Btw, did you know that Thermal Expansion now adds Nickel and Platinum too?
50% of the Biomes I know of have Bauxite. I usually have craptons of it, before I start making a Factory.
Its LV, because otherwise you cant use it to power the Miner and other LV-Machines. There is no other Way around.
Moment, with anything in your Hand!?! But it doesnt Crash if you have nothing? Did that happen multiple times? I have no Idea what happened there.

But Platinum I have 40 stacks and about 4 stacks of iridium ore. All other ores in other mods are disabled including Thermal Expansion.Yeah the Bauxite was not to bad just wanted to state how it was going.
The Lithium is used for powering Miners? Odd I use Lap Crystals myself its an option in the IC Config.
I still think the end stuff is very op.

Few things I wanted to share with you Greg now that I have had a lot of time to dig into the mod:
- Chrome seems to be a bit rare more rare then say iridium and for sure platinum. Redstone takes to much and Ruby requires a special biome and it seems the ruby has seems slightly nerf since the first time using the mod.
- Platinum seems pretty special resource, Downside is I'm getting it way to often to the point I would say 10 to 1 iridium. Not sure if you wanted it that high but I feel like processing Sheldonite with merc cells really make to much for what it can do.
- Energy Flow Circuit for just 1 Plat vs 4 iridium ore seems a bit cheap. The recipe is just to elementary at this point I could make tons and tons of stacks.
- Sheldonite in the end... Most overpowered resource in the game. Nerfing it would make life shitty since you don't get much but iridium and 12 plat per 4 ore. That is pretty frigan insane... But rather then nerf the ore I think we should change game world mechanics in the end... I don't think you should be able to in anyway fly with a normal jetpack... I think you need a special upgraded one that might work a bit better in the main world and that works like a normal one in the end.. I think we need something very end gameish to make this pack... So the only way to get around in the end is to make long long cobble structures or work on this new jetpack.
- Titanium is a tad rare not the worst thing ever like Chrome and not sure what you consider it vs chrome but its still pretty rare depending on the users biomes to get bux.
- Once again Lithium you have made it a LV source but it's used in a MV component for literally every recipe from MFE's to Mining Lasers. It stores more energy then the MV Lap Pack. But yet you keep using it as an LV Pack. I think it's time to switch her into a MV. -

- Craft nuggets from ingots
- Place in alloy furnace.

She's free to get 1-2 other people on RP2 just as alblaka did with IC at some point. Just look what IC² became, it doesn't look like it did any bad to his project. And i don't think she would have any trouble finding some decent coders willing to work on RP.

is not a Bug ...is deliberate. give security for player they always know that they in range of a DefenceStation...whose mod the owner may change at any timeSounds great, I never been able to see it myself since I'm the only one running one for our community city. Does it actually do any damage of any kind? It sounded like people might of been getting a short burst of damage. I'm going have to ask them again since we had like 3-4 defenders overlayed it sounded nasty. No big deal anyways since I added them all to the list.
I can't wait to update I'm pretty much short on 2 mods now then 1.4.6

Eloraam rewites Redpower to crash if Gregtech installed. Greg is kicked out of IC2 forum. The IC2 team decides that gregtech machines dont recieve power from the grid. Greg rewrites the energy net. IC2 team rewrites IC2 to crash when gregtech installed. Everyone stops using Gregtech. Exept the technic pack. Greg writes skynet, which kills us all. With chainsaw. Playing Justin Bieber music.

Kane I am sorry, but you really have no idea about the truth of any of this. With regards to monopolising the content she has, there are people who have already copied aspects of it. Buildcraft have façades, there are other mods that have logic gates etc. Given recent events, this is a subject that has come up a fair amount and I think it is OK to say that if you want to go out and create an alternative to say the wiring in red power. As long as it is done in your own way and using your own code there will be no issue.
With regards to this particular subject and Gregtech making changes to recipes in red power. I will make sure Elo see's the message that Greg wants a response from her. However there was nothing sinister here. I was already on the forums, I have an account and was logged in. I know that Greg knows that anything that I say has come from Eloraam and I am not just making up messages. This is not a legal thing and its not meant to be a threat or anything. Right now Greg is technically doing nothing wrong. In fact the message was intentionally worded to not be threatening. It was just meant to be a request to not have an option which would allow for a partial rebalance to part of Red Power 2.
Slowpoke, I guess at the end of the day I'm just tired when I hear the word RedPower and legal something in anyway. You must admit it comes up a lot and if you have not seen it much before then damn you are lucky because this place has seen and hears about it a lot. I just wish people would not get so offended by recipe changes. I respect that she does not want people tampering her actual files and I can't blame her for that in security and let alone its your hard work and someone's like bitch this is how it should look. I just feel a recipe balance is probably one the most passive things ever that is and should almost be always an open option not with other mods but actual server admins. It really comes down to my choice and my players choice and people who play single player. Do I have 40 hours a week to play? If so as a none builder and someone who enjoys a progression through a tech tree then GregTech is my new love.
Anyway I guess I'm just getting tired of anything with Red Power and the walls that seem to come with it. She needs to relax a bit and live life. For the monopolizing, Not saying she sue someone for making a new mod. Just saying RP2 pretty damn superior and a lot of people are like why make something when there is something pretty epic now!
Anyway's I will just leave this be and see how things go.

The main problem is: She can almost do whatever she wants, there is literally no alternative to redpower at the moment and i seriously doubt there will be anything anytime soon. There are a few other logic gate or wiring mods in development, but nothing for the whole frame stuff etc
No the problem is that she monopolized a product. No one else needs to or maybe even fears to borrow ideas. Where everyone else borrows ideas their afraid of not just her but the rest of the community how they act against it. Take her out many months there will be new things. Hell Id say Greg would do it but I think he like Eloraam. I hope not as bad as some these crazy people but still.. I don't hate her I just hate how she has handled things. I wish she would wake up and understand modding is not just about their way or the high way.
Greg has a lot of respect for these developers. All he wants to do is make his own game play harder and use all the wonderful mods in the same package. What's so hard about that? The sooner people wake up and see whets going on the sooner they can pass the message back to their queen and maybe she can be a bit more open.

I'm kinda glad to see that Flowerchild and me (well, at least one thing we can agree upon...) are not the only people out there that think eloraam is a horrible person. A great coder, yes, but not someone i want to work with or even have to talk to for whatever reason.
Flowerchild I have no clue on his story. he does not want people as far as I know touching the way his mod is so he makes it not work with anything. That is great. If Eloraam wants to do that then sure I will be more happy to see that. Instead of this Legal bullshit crap. My friend over here had made a converter mod ages ago. Caused some drama and on IRC back before Eloraam stooped using IRC had pretty much said, illegal, sue, banned, stop working on redpower, and a lot of other crap. She pretty much was QQ so much that she was threating to stop working on her mod or end it all.....
This is when you know you got someone very unstable in the modding community. Worst part her lackeys come chasing after us and others because they are blinded by a great mod but miss understand whats going on in the background. All they care is defend her at all costs.... And its spreading more and more to other developers like a plague. I wonder if she was a he this be the same?
