Shedar you been doing a great job on this addon. I hope you create more unique and useful addons in the future.

You sure? I'm told they got people testing SMP all the time I can't see how any of them would miss test this in anyway.

Any errors? *I* could take a look.
Sorry about that:

Snyke just to let you know this is the only mod so far that does not seem to work on the latest update. I just thought you would want to know.
-
SMP port.
Version number is rev1 in the file name but 1.2 Beta 6pre3_2 in-game, since I forgot to change that.
Everything I tested works, including generator cores, forcefield projectors, and reactor interfacing, except the camouflage projector.
Camouflaged force fields will always display the "invalid block" texture.
Also the names have been slightly changed. If you want them back, there is a config setting.
Includes the recipe fix.Edit: almost forgot, this port now requires Immibis Core. Google it and find my thread on MCF, I can't give you the link now since I'm typing this on my phone.
Apparently I need permission to upload this anywhere other than the IC2 forums.
Nice job. I love to play around with this sometime in SMP though I think it can get messy on larger servers.
-
As promised, an update today. Haven't had a chance to get back and make upgrades, including official Bukkit support, just yet, but I'll try to get to that soon.
Looking forward to the bukkit update. I guess there is no harm using the old one?
-
Since Tekkit is a vial pack I would see it highly inappropriate to be allowed to be even posted here under servers. Now if you had a section for general mods and stuff that is kind of cool I mean most here use more then just IC but tekkit to me is just vial
-
Sexy! Now all we need is a upgrade forge
-
Using Forge 135 and the q-suit I can jump a block higher than I could before (I know this because I had a bunch of places that a superjump was just high enough to get to. I can now jump one block higher than those.) The run speed also seems to have increased because I can no longer run down my staircase. I go too far forward too fast and hit my head. I'm not complaining, just figured I should give a heads up :p
I have not had the chance to test this out but this is a great report since they are looking to pop an update soon this be something last minute to check out. -
I mean, if I left the bug information out in the wild, imagine the pressure from SMP server hosts.
It's actually fixed for us but yeah thanks for thinking of us
-
I blanked out the post. The bug is already known and has been fixed.
Warning to everyone this has not been fixed there is no download link to the fixed therefore not fixed.
Please stop lying were tired of it. It's fixed when there is a patch or a hotfix not when you just randomly type words on the screen.
-
Thats a bug that has been fixed for next patch. [Fall damage accumulates, and even if you slow down you take all damage].
Sorry but assuming there is a next patch is just silly
-
Optifine stopped working on forge 123 I think. So don't use it. Everyone stick to forge 120 even though 121 is RB 121 know for issue. 120 works really great.
-
My big suggestion would be to make the mod and then wast your time on SMP. What would you rather. Have the mod now and later he makes SMP, maybe a bit slower than just us waiting for it to be made
Not really and his mod will get pop fast. I have a server with a few hundred whitelisted members that just play Industrial Alone. Also I don't mind if it takes him longer. It is a learning experience at the sametime
-
I don't use Trees++ but I just want to thank you anyways for adding a new CropCard mod. I hope to see more of your work in the future.
-
My big suggestion would be to code it with smp from the ground up and save you from lots of people asking and also work.
-
I'll better change the range of Industrial Alarm slider. It will start from 0, not from 16. With zero range Industrial Alarm will be silent but flashing.I'm getting a lot of users reporting an error with your mod. They seem to have crashes are mac users. version 1.1.6 was perfect for them but now 1.1.8 is crashing them on load.
Here is a couple reports:

technically this has been suggested before so...
TIME TO WHIP OUT THE LURKERS REPEAT SUGGESTION SCORING SYSTEMthought out: 30/100 few details in the post and no hard numbers but did a good job explaining what he is looking for in the video
presentation: 80/100 made a video to illustrate the idea
uniqueness: 50/100 on the grounds that there are not a lot of force field suggestions to compare it againsttotal score 160 a new record
i'm +1 for thisif you don't want to wait for some one to make this here are some existing tools that you may find useful
1. computercraft with the ccholo peripheral can project solid self-replacing blocks while consuming ic2 power
2. good old fashioned vanilla self repairing piston walls (but hooked up to a redpower reinforced stone factory)
3. mystcraft (every user gets their own dimension to hide their stuff in)
4. alblakas mod shop (pay alblaka to make this into an addon)1. Looks cool though would prob run into a lot of issues with this one being complex. But as far as I know SSP only and not even 1.2.5 at this time. A really cool mod with another dev to busy in RL. Damn RL!
2. This idea has been fun but on a PVP environment with so many advance toys it would never last unless if you were throwing zombies at it lol.
3. I would rather have it all on 1 world.
4. I have donated a couple times does that count No I rather not buy my way because many many great mods out there and I have donated a lot to them and I rather not lets say take sides and start paying out to one person but then feel bad not doing to the rest hehe. My server has been a pay a one time fee so I always used that money to donate out to the wonderful mod/plugin makers. But good ideas!
-
So my biggest dream for a long time and yes I know there is a expansion coming to IC so this might end up being more of a idea for addon makers is a shield mod. Yes I know there was one and now its opensource and the dev does not have time but it was a bit to large of a mod for such a simple use. So this idea is pretty much to create a fun pvp server for myself where you can have a base and feel protected but of course everything else is BYE BYE SAM lol.
Here is a video of it in more depth:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32Ah1Hm59RcJust wanted to add a few more things:
- Square shield is not a bad idea. This would probably save on cpu calculations.
- It does not have to be a visual effect though it is a big bonus. As long you got something like a text event that says you hit someone forcefield or something like that would be nice but little more magic would be nice.
- I love the fuel idea or power idea and think its a must. But I think it needs something extra so a MFSU/Solar Panel can't keep it running for life.Anyways love to hear other ideas from the rest of ya.,

One of Mojang's devenlopers tweeted this something a couple of weeks ago:
"We'll probably have the API 1.4 now, so until then 1.3/these snapshots will be hard to update to." Link
Seems pretty typical and we propably won't have the mod API until MC 1.5, atleast that's my guess.I hope you stay 1.2.5. I'm tired as fuck having to deal with Mojang's bullshit and lies. I mean have they ever done a update in history planned right? No. But since their player base is a bunch of 12 year olds who are getting off school now and cranky they gotta push an update out. Hell I have hardly seen any API so far and FFS if API is not coming out and they not been adding it into the main repo where has it been going? I doubt they were working on 2 repo's and going to merge such a massive change. Mainly because a lot of the API changes would hopefully make them realize of some major issues and actually rewrite parts of Minecraft for performance reasons.
IDK but ffs I hope you do not update to 1.3 and you guys ALL make a firm stand.
