IR is switching to using bukkit soon, I hope. I'll have a look. Might fall asleep on my keyboard though. I've not(effectively)slept for ages, because I was up for 32 hours due to xkillerbees' live stream I watched, (wrong timezone :(), then I had 4 hours sleep, and now I've been awake for 14 hours since then... D:
haha yeah I understand I usually don't sleep till 7-8am everyday lmao. Pretty bad

The bukkit port involves recompiling using MCP anyway, yes? Could you upload a set-up MCP to build the bukkit one and and PM me the link to it? I know you're not really supposed to do it, but I don't have enough time otherwise. I could then release this for the port?
Yeah I need to learn myself how to do this stuff overtime. I did see the changes done to the files but derp I don't even no how to compile but hell can decompile and show the exact changes hehe.

Instead of delaying the chunk unload, why not change the button state before teleporting?Yeah that would work better if done right. Just sucks how the teleport bugs are so broken their unuseable in every update so far and yet I'm told we got a wonderful SMP testing team. Odd since Teleporter is the number 1 used item in smp.

It seems like the chunks unload so fast that the buttons get stuck in the on state. Then you teleport back and that one got stuck and then your stuck in this really really scary fast loop and ahh damn haha. Not sure if there is a way to delay the chunk unloading by 15 seconds.

It never originally worked like that. It used to be yo uneedde to ctrl and W-w for max speed. I guess you could increase the ctrl speed, but to get the FOX change too you'd need to modify base classes...

I found a mod changes sprint to crtrl but you can't use 2 binds on 1 key.

I have the same issue only in single player and with my geothermal generators, Whenever they are producing power actively and I move away I start to get extreme FPS lag and only a full mc restart will fix it.
*Edit*Quick test showed me it is indeed related to sound, when I put the slider to "off" there is no noticable lag when going to my cacti farm or mining field (wich usually is an enormous stutter of 5 fps till I restart MC) At least for me this is the case.
Missed your post thanks for getting back. Yeah Sound issue was my first guess. I don't know if the devs experience it must themselves. I have been able to solve 90% of complaints on our server with a simple disable sound.
BTW you can just go ahead and disable IC2 sounds from the config in the mod folder and this will really speed up performance.
We only use sound anyways for Ssssssss Eww Free items!

EDIT: With sound at zero I get a steady 55-60 FPS.
I assume the sound disabled solved your issues? 55-60 what I lag at hehe. I usually get 400+ But I assume that was the case. I'm glad more lights being brought to this. I been bitching about the sound issues since I started using IC. The sound engine pretty broken

There's one thing you're doing wrong when trying to get it to work with IC² 1.23 - this texture pack addon simply doesn't work with version 1.23.
This is how it looks in IC 1.15: The machines have their own textures, but the cables and some items don't (just as it said in the thread description). When I switch to 1.23, the machines are not textured with SphaxBD style either. That's because there has been a change in IC² 1.20 in how textures are applied for machines. The thread auther already said he's working on it.

Great pack btw, I suggest making the resin item look like resin on a tree - i.e. a color swap of Redstone and Coal. Or do you have different plans?

In SMP I hate it so much I end up paying people. But damn I could imagine SSP this being one of the worst parts of the game. Hell I rather hunt down rubber forests and take it all down without using the tap and use the wood its so frigan damn painful. I agree though we need something like the wrench and we need it working with the bat pack.

I see, the low ammo count could pose a problem.
Afaik i've got two options now:
1. CF Batpack
2. Increasing the amoung of spray a sprayer can holdIn case of 1 we got two choices of how to load the batpack:
1. Canner (some new code ned)
2. by crafting (hundreds of recipes ned >.>Guess i will have to go for 1-1, damn crafting system.
I like complex long boring recipes. You got 2 choices. 1 Do it hard and long way. Or 2 Use BC if you to lazy to make a factory <3
Anything painful long and etc I think is worth but I do want to see a backpack as a new item more items ftw

You'll have to restart the game after setting the sound level to 0 for this test to work.
For my players the second I tell them to put volume down at 0 it Always works for them. Might as well try both way I mean your going turn the sound down anyways so if it does not help then relog
