Place a pump next to a miner and it will enable the miner to extract liquids.
You will need Cells in the pump and a chest nearby.
A miner with adjacent pump will ONLY actively scan for lava blocks... if it hit's water, it will just pierce through and ignore it (as i don't see a point in harvesting water, it's infinitely avaible either way).

At least from a partial damage state, I have not found any energy block that will charge quantum armor. I've tried a batbox, MFE, and MFSU and none will charge it. I have not drained the armor down to nothing yet to see if that is required, but it seems a bit silly not to be able to charge a partially full piece of armor. Tried in v0.9 as well as v1.00 and neither work.

MFSU should be freely able to charge the Quantum Armor.
Worked in my tests as well. Took some time (about 5 min for a full charge), but it worked.

I cant craft mfsu with empty laptrons, even though i installed 1.00 (btw recipe book somehow recognices it).
    Edit:applys to mass producer too

I seriously cannot confirm this. The recipes are fine.
Dunno whether you're probably using "old" bugged lapotrons, 1%-charged lapotrons (those you get when crafting lapotron crystals from charged energycrystals) or incorrect Recpes.

On azerty keyboard you use the z key to move forward but the quantum suit sprint use w buy default instead of the key assigned to forward(z in the case of azerty).

Guess due to most people using the normal wasd i didn't consider somebody could have a distinct forward movement key. Will be fixed.

Not eu. You are losing eu/t
See? 12/32 is less than 88/128,

Now assume you send THE SAME AMOUNT of energy to begin with (f.e. in 4 pulses of 32 EUt on copper cable):
48/128 with cpper, 88/128 with Gold.

Yes, losses are higher in higher tier cables, if you solely watch the energy lost in one pulse. However, if you calculate it based on the amount of energy send, high-pulse+high-loss is less wasteful then low-pulse+low-loss.

This is it. IC², the future of IC.
While playing it, you will feel right at home again, rediscovering most of the stuff known from IC. However, once you get your machines running, you will quickly notice how smooth and well-designed everything works now. Wiring is easier, batterys aren't as twosided (on/off) anymore, new cables, rubber stuff, new machines, EVERYTHING was added.
Create obstacle courses of Metal Poles and Rubber-Sheets, explore the Nether with an Electrical Jetpack or blow up whole landscapes at once by using the Dynamite-O-Mote. Or discover the much more complex mechanisms of Nuclear Engineering, blow up your hut or burn your hands. Or grap the rusty ol Composite Vest, and start hunting Creepers with the new, allmighty NanoSaber.

It's up to you, it's MINEcraft after all.

How to install, how to report errors, how to NOT bug the IC² developers:

What do i need to install IndustrialCraft / Prequesites ?

It's strongly recommended to install these prequesite mods in the listed order onto a freshly downloaded minecraft.jar for optimum results.

How to install the Mod itself:
    DOWNLOAD
To install IC², first extract the archive to a location of your choice. Then drag the content of the minecraft folder into your minecraft.jar with a archive managing tool like WinRar.
    You can ignore theminecraft_server folder.
Do not attempt to install this mod by dropping it into the mods folder.
    Do not unpack your minecraft.jar.
Do not drop the whole client or the downloaded archive into your minecraft.jar.
Do not forget to delete the META-INF folder if you didn't delete it already.
Do as i said in the second sentence of this section.

As well, you can (optionally) install the IC² Sound Package.
To use the new sounds, you will need to have Audiomod installed.
Copy the downloaded "sound"-folder into your ".minecraft/ressources/mod" directory. Alternatively you can copy the content of the sound folder into the folder present at the location described in the sentence before.
You can freely alter and remove any of the sounds to your like, it will not have any effects on minecraft (except for disabling/altering sounds).

If you get any sort of crashes or errors, consider first reading the FAQ, before bugging the Support section:

If you want to report Bugs; we got a Bug-Section for that purpouse. Please read the Known Bug's List first, though.

If you got questions, considere browsing through the official IC wiki.
Note: The wiki is not completely updated to IC² yet, we do not guarantuee for the completeness of anything noted there.

There's an automatically generated Recipe-File attached to this post. Feel free to download it if you can't find the necessary crafting informations on the wiki / in the forum.

Or pay the Dev-Team's official YT-PR-Manager a visit:

If you're looking for a server, check out the Server-Section of this forum.
Or just directly grap your reserverd slot on
    Industrial Rage
Obviously, without SMP-version there are no servers yet

    LAST BUT NOT LEAST, CREDITS
Firstly, we would like to thank the whole MCP team. Without their work, modifying Minecraft would be MUCH more complicated and time-consuming.
Additionally, thanks go to Risugami, Flan and the MCForge team, a big mod like IC² just can't live without all these base-modifications.
As well, i would on this spot thank my developer team personally:

    • Player - Coder & Co-Leader of IC²
    • alexthesax - Coder
    • Drashian - Coder
    • elementalist - Coder
    • Feanturi - Spriter
    • tahu44 Modeller
    • Lurch1985 Sound Artist
    • The whole set of Beta-Testers, who i constantly annoyed by throwing buggy new versions at them while smiting every of their bugreport with a casual "It's not a bug, it's a feature".
