I do a variation of this, with one key change: I dig up, not down.
Try MiningLaser on LongRange :3

QuoteFirst work. Then cookie.
maybe he will do it all with hexagons next
I'm totally in for triangles! Makes rendering even easier, as well.
Nope, I leave them seperated on intention, showing up on which points we had an internal beta test version.
9,333 uses if you don't use UU-Matter to get the rest.
Assuming you use scraps in the Mass-Fabricator (most people do).
IT'S OVER 9000- But under 10,000. Infinite=9,000? :O
It's infinite compared to how often you hit something in melee while carrying a MiningLaser.
Ha! Just wait until after 1.3 when the new API kills everything.
...Be great if all the mods release 1.2.5 versions so I can hang out there until 1.4.3 or so...
This.
Seriously, I'll make 2 times the backups of 1.2.5 version for myself :O
Let's just close this discussion with following two statements:
-It's Minecraft. You can carry a few thousand tons of stone in a pocket space and start by punching down a tree. RealLife-Physics do NOT apply, thus a SolarPanel working exclusively off sunlight is entirely legit.
-In sense of balance and gameplay, SolarPanels exclusively working in direct sunlight and only on day-time are an intended factor.
You'll see in future parts
My worry with this weapon is that it would be OP. Because the durability bar of the mining laser would be used for the power level, there is (as far as I know) no other way to record the durability of a stabbity thing on the end of it.
It's Iridium. Consider the amoutn of energy ned to produce 2 Iridium Plates. Divide it by 1000 for each hit if you're greedy.. amount of possible hits is still QUITE infinite. >> doesn't need durability.
I consider this thread electrocuteing.
@topic:
Major issue: IC's reactors cannot yet simulate themselves. Thus they cannot give you information about efficience, heat/tick, time-until-boom...
For this, I would need to code a simulator, effectively the thing the ReactorPlanner does. Possible, but tedious and time-consuming.
Stuff like EuT or current heat is possible, though. Just nothing related to calculation/simulation of future values.
EDIT: just watched part 6 it was amazing and now I know the demon is half demon half angel thats really fascinating.
You THINK you know that.
In all honesty... why do you bind forward to right mouse button
WSAD, Arrows, Numpad, IJKL, QWERtzi... but RMB?
It is supposed to not only refill your hunger but also give a heart of direct heal.
The saturation amount for canned food is low, can be compared to that of zombie flesh
and spider eyes. You guys got what Al said backwards.EDIT: Spider eyes don't have low saturation, they compare to a full use of cake.
Nope, it was meant to have a perfect high saturation level :O Did you alter that one?
After a quick decompile, I noticed the formula has been changed. The altitude is reduced by 64 so you will need to go higher for decent results.
This. Was mentioned in the changelog, as well.
SO let me get this straight. You have a futuristic weapon, forged from rare metal alloys and special energy crystals. It probably weighs 10-15 lbs to lug around. You want to stick a KNIFE onto the barrel of this extremely futuristic weapon? It's like taping a shovel onto a tunnel boring machine ...
Which is why this suggestion sticks out from the rest :3
Putting it on the list, though as low priority. Will not extract resin, but the idea of putting an iridium bayonett on a Mining Laser is just too hilarious not to implement. Just like Solar Helmet.
With a chainsaw. Repeatedly. :p
