Such a machine wouldn't pose much trouble to code, but messing with worldTime can SERIOUSLY backfire and mess up blockupdates.
f.e. stopping time does as well stop all block updates, essentially causing "frozen" water and anti-gravity-gravel.

Vice versa, jumping forward in time does enforce and/or skip block updates, causing stuff like insta/never-hardening CF foam / tree growth.
Not 100% sure of the effects, but unless i can be sure they do not create metric ton of bugs, i will for sure not implement it.

Weedex, cropmatron and iron scaffolds aren't supposed to be in the 1.85 version yet (heck, i just finished coding the iron scaffolds), probably jenkins did some fun stuff there.

If the stuff is in & functional, feel free to promote it. However, note:
-IronScaffold texture may change
-CropMatron texture WILL change
-Brewing is balanced for SMP and literally takes hours. To be exact it takes 20m/1h/3h/9h for each of the beer-phases to proceed to the next one. RL-time, not MC. As well, i'm yet to produce a fully fermented beer.

2 HV's, otherwise the reactors output beyond 2048 is wasted.

I'm for myself rather working on bugfixes and new content. However, i assume RP and BC will somewhen soon push an update and as soon as that happens we're usually forced to progress as well.

To mention it again: You CAN create wide webs or plains of cables. These will NOT influence your CPU load while the Watermills are running.
HOWEVER, it will cause a slightly more complex computation whenever
-a chunk with parts of the system is (un)loaded
-a cable or machine is added
-a cable or machine is removed

Player stated to have fixed the more severe CPU drain in that regard, thus i don't think it would be fatal to create such webs. But it could cause some lags, depending on your engine.

As already mentioned in this blog-post, I'm a hobby author for Fantasy novels.
Early on, most of my works are German-only, but quite all of my "recent" storys are English and thus can be published here. And I seriously dunno why I didn't drop them in here before.

All storys uploaded in this section will be my English ones, or, if popular interest is high enough, translated versions of my older German novels.
I'll attac the storys via the board, as zipped RTF-documents, assuming there are enough free tools to read such files.

It's a sort of inactive RPG-forum hosted by me and Fean, but all the links and descriptions are still fine enough in regard of the storys.

Don't be worrier, I'm not exactly spending much time writing (to the dismay of a few fans of mine, who loved my first book and are still waiting for a sequel), IC² won't suffer from it.

My English for sure isn't the best, but I consider it "readable" enough to be writing storys with it.
Feel free to PM me about serious grammar/understanding issues, but just drop the smaller and irrelevant punctuation/spelling ones.
